Eligibility of this course is 10th pass or 12 pass students. I have given this entrance after completing the 12th class. The name of the entrance exam was JEECUP. Anyone can find the application form easily on the website of JEECUP and find the information related to this entrance. Application fees are 350 for gen/obc and 250 for sc/st. I belong to the general category So I didn't get any reservation benefits. The admission process is overall smooth and easy to do.
Polytechnic colleges provide diploma courses. These are the technical courses provided by the government to pursue technical knowledge in various fields. In UP, the JEECUP examination is held in basically April and its application form starts to get filled in almost Feb-Mar. Anyone can find this form easily at the website of JEECUP. The application fee is different for all the categories like for general/obc fees is 350 and for sc/st fees is 250 somewhat. The minimum eligibility of the diploma course is 10th class. Many reservations are also given to many students like for OBC or SC/ST, since I was of the GEN category I didn't get any reservation benefits. I personally liked all the admission processes so don't want any improvements.
