Campus Life

3

Upon my arrival in this class at the beginning of the semester, I had 2 different sets of expectation. I thought this class would show me all my possibilities and open my eyes to which major I should declare. I did not know how exactly this would happen, but I do not teach at a university. My second thought was that I would not learn anything; that this class would cover basic academic success solutions and strategies that had been preached through out all my years in high school. Either way I expected this class to slide by, and do well with little to no effort. I made a lot of assumptions about this class, before even looking at the syllabus, or attending a class. One of them was how easy this class would be; I figured it would be an easy A. In this I was wrong, this class was not at all as easy as I had expected.

Admission

I apply in kanpur institute of technology but i droped it because of to much high fees And i also apply in government college for politechnic but my not selected in merit thats why i rejected In current college there is a simple process for the admission firsly fill the application for the admission then give a normal exam and submit the fees admission confirm

Faculty

3

The faculty to students relationship is good and frankly they teach their students like a friend Mr saiman lal is my favourite english teacher because their nature is to good Mr Sharad Joshi is my maths teacher and i dont like him because he is. Very angry person There are 2 exams in every 6 months in a year First one is normal and second one is hard

Night Life

4

The nightlife around our campus is fairly vibrant, with a mix of casual bars close to campus, a few live music venues within walking distance, and a more lively club scene a short drive away in the downtown area, offering options for relaxed evenings with friends or bigger party nights depending on what you're looking for.

Placement Experience:

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

I'd rate BA Hons English curriculum at BHU 4.5/5. Strengths: comprehensive literature coverage, language skills development, and critical thinking. Weaknesses: limited focus on contemporary literature and digital humanities. Prepares well for academics, writing, and teaching careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The sociology course teaches me the norms of our society and family we live in. This course will provide a vast knowledge about the society and culture and this made me to choose this course. The time given is enough to complete the course and to understand it . The exams are conducted after every six months so the difficulty level is moderate.

Amity University, Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)
Reviewed on Nov 15, 2024(Enrolled 2018)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.
