Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum I must say was designed perfectly well and meeting and catering the requiremenst and needs of the industry. My course being from doamin of Computer Science they made sure , we were all ready by the end semester to enter into IT industry , all prepared .The frequency of examinations were twice a semester , apart from our final semester for that year , hence continous or regualr progress check ups were made to ensure good results.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure was 50,000 INR per year back in 2019 which was affordable for an UG degree according to me and that too if they are providing you quality education .Yes, scholarship was being provided to reserved candidates and socially weaker sections based on their category and subsequent waive off was provided which is apperciable. The total tution fees for my batch was 1,50,000 INR for three years. The financial aid is being provided based on merit if our scores in 10th and 12th were above 90-95% a special waive off for encouragement was provided for first year i.e 25,000 INR was the fee for first year.

Campus Life

5

My campus life memories are indelible memories of my college life, even now when I close my eyes all I coukd see is the serene environment , the chapel and the vintage buildings all so alive even now. Apart from them, college social events were my favourite , the club activities and sports were so entertaining.

Admission

As I mentioned I had applied to RVS college of engineering at coimbatore. The course applied was for BE. CSE , but due to unavoidable family situations , I dropped the plan of pursuing professional studies and continued with Arts and science as both courses if studied with same determination can bring fruitful results , and indeed I am here in front of you already placed in an It company.

Faculty

5

The faculties as I mentioned were the second most liked thing about AMC after the campus life. They were well versed and strong in their subjects and also they used to clear our timely doubts more like a peer. The exams were conducted twice a semester apart from end semester to check our progress. The exams were mediocre level , to tets our abilities and were fun and challemging to make best oyt of us.

Interview Experience

5

There were no GD or interview. It was direct admission based on our 10th and 12th board examinations. And also scholarships were provided for merit studnets based on their score. Other way of admission was through management quota and recommendations

Night Life

5

Not to exaggerate, the best was the nightlife at campus. Since, Being a dayscholar only times I was there at campus during nights were during fests and events. The lights, the trees shadows on vintage buildings, The holy candles lit in the chapel were so lively. The cafeteria at AMC , is really good in maintenance and quality of menu.

Other Applied Colleges

RVS College of Engineering and Technology | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I was looking for a college with quality of academics at low fees because of family situation. Hence this college proved to be the best choice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relavant to the coarse, iam a nutrition student and I came to study abot nutrition, but I have also learnt about microbiology, food evaluation, food making, food safety rules, food entrepreneurship etcc which increases the variety of opportunities based to the course. Iam happy that iam learning about diet planning which is why I chooses this course. It really helps in real world opportunities as they allow intership s,practicals, practices, competition etc.. The area it needs improvement is the language skills of the professors as there are other states students there some people cannot understand tamil so they have to teach intwo languages. The timings of exams is not that bad there is one and half month gap between exams.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.
