For my course in electronics, it covers Analog circuits,Digital Electronics, communication, VLSI , signal and system,Engineering Mathematics. This course provides a strong base for core electronics and communication fields. It is good preparatioin for careers in semiconductor industries,telecommunication, and automation. Lack of coding environment in my college and limited industry oriented labs and modern tool usage. The difficulty level is moderate to easy varying from one subject to another.

Overall i have bad experience. so many events are held according to the occasions include mahashivratri event, holi,deepotsava event,etc. Annual events include Adhyay( cultural fest) around march - april, Aagaz(Sports fest) around jan to march,Technika (Technical fest). Variety of magazines, journals, newspaper, digital content are there in the library includes university previous year papers. Aeroclub and autorob are the prestigious clubs in our college.

Hostel room includes ceiling fans,cupboard, two led lights. Overall the mess food is good to moderate varying from days. There is registration form form we have to fill for the hostels, hostels are affordable since it is only for 21,000 and mess fees is 36000.

I choose this college because my cousin brother from this college and near my home town. In placement area this is not good, for campus it is ok. I have applied for nit patna,nit allahabad, iiit kalyani and iit bhagalpur but due to higher rank in i did not qualify, but i qualified for nit manipur but due to distance from my home town i dropped the idea. You can apply for HBTU Kanpur from their website directly after jee exams. there are total three rounds of counselling and one internal sliding after branch allottment. For cse - your rank should under 35000.for IT rank below 40000, you can apply upto rank of 4 lacs having different quotas, and category. since there are 13 branches in total jee rank vary.

Faculty to student ratio is around 1:80. I liked my maths,digital electronics and electronics faculties. I liked the input and hardwork they put in to clear our concept. I hate the faculty of ssdc and analog electronics. In last semester he intentionally gave back to most of the students. There are in total three exams per semester for theory subject and two for Lab related subject.Two mid sems of 15 marks eachand end sem of 80 marks and T.A. of 20marks and for lab, one mid and one end of 15 and 50 marks 15 for lab exam and rest for T.A.

Gym opens in two shifts morning 5 to 8 and evening 5 to 8. There is canteen in our hostel which opens 5 pm till late night. Library opens at 10 a.m. and close at 7:00 pm. Boys hostel close at 9/10 or late night depend on the year. Famous place includes Isckon Temple, J.K. temple, Allen zoo, Sudhanshu Ashram, Panki dham, Bithoor,etc.
