Honest review

Ths specific aspects of curriculum that influenced my decision is the DSA subject data structures and algorithm subject. As nowadays the software is ruling the social media. Many people prefer to join computer science and in the interviews they ask mostly from dsa subject. To get more package and best internship dsa subject is important.so this subject has influenced me.and made me choose this course. This curriculum that the nit Warangal follows is very impressive and it very well can be applied in the real life applications. We have many practical labs which explain us how to perform the experiments in real life and the applications of those objects. To improve this course better they can remove the irrelevant subjects such as biology and optimization techniques. The teaching method of some teachers is very poor they just read the pdf that is displayed on the board. The frequency of exams is more as there should be generally 2 exams per semister mids and end sem. But the mid exam which should be conducted for us is splitted into two exams minor 1 and minor 2 of 15 marks each. Which makes us difficult to study for the exam I suggest to conduct just one example mids. The difficulty level of exams is good enough to pass. But one subject dsa is quite difficul.

In our college students get interships in 3rd year. Many good companies come to our campus such as oracle and microsoft etcc..a senior whom I know got an internship of 1.5 lakhs per month. There are many opportunities in our college. Many students get placed in 7th semister. Almost all students get placed in final year.

The placements of our campus is quite good many students get interships in 3rd year itself The companies that visit our campus are also very good companies. Such as oracle Swiggy microsoft etcc..for 5th semister students will be eligible to get campus internships where as in 7th semister students will become eligible to get campus placements. The placement percentage of cse students is nearly 80 percent. The higher package in our college is 88 lakhs per annum. Where as average package is 28 lakhs per annum. My plan after getting degree is to get a stable job in a good company.

The tution fee is 22000 for each sem And hostel fee is 28000 for each sem Which means for each year nearly 1,30,000 The tution fee for obc caste ncl is 22,000. There is no tution fee for other students such as sc caste people they just pay the hostel fee 28,000 every semister.

The overall experience of campus life would be a 7/10 I would describe it as average. Because the number of events and enjoyment in our campus is quite low and not soo impressive as compared to the other. Colleges where as we come into academics it is quite good. there are many clubs in which students can be joined. And many club events which happen very frequently. The library here in our college is quite huge and there we can find almost all novels and reference books. the range of availability of a book is very huge.the facilities in classrooms of cse are not soo good I am not impressed of those facilities. There is no ac in classrooms and fans also harky work. Although there is a digital screen in our classroom in which teachers show the pdf and it is impressive. As we come to sports there are many grounds in our campus for volleyball and badminton. There is a huge cricket ground. And in our college the extra academic activities are quite promoted. We have extra academic classes evry week. Where we focus on our fitness and strength. Thwre are many ganes uf u want to play . Many inter NIT games will be conducted.

The hostel fees is around 28000 per semister and the accomodation is not soo good. The rooms will be very small in 1.8k hostel. Wthe ventilation is quite good. The meal quality is not soo good. I don't like the mess food here. There is a online portal called smile ero portal where we have to do semister registration and pay the semister fees. And also pay the hostel fees in that portal.there is ethernet facility in ir hostel rooms and cupboards for each member. There are 2 members for each room.

I choose this college over the other college because the average package of this college is more as compared to other colleges and also the nirf ranking of this college is quite good. If we compare our college with other colleges our college dominates others when it comes to academics and studies where as when it comes to events and campus life enjoyment it is more in other colleges. I couldn't make it to IIT as during my advance preperation I had an health issue. The admission process of our college is quite simple we should come here to college with all the relevant documents and jossa applications. The rest they will take care. The people here in the campus will guide you.the other colleges I applied are NIT surathkal NIT TRICHY IIT HYDERABAD. I got chance to join in NIT surathkala but I chose this college over that because the average package of NIT Warangal is more than NIT surathkala. I got an admission in NIT Trichy and IIT Hyderabad but I didn't get in cse course I got some other course. But I wanted cse. The cutoffs for general category is 3000 for NIT Warangal cse course. JEE mains ranknahould be around 3000 for open category.

The relationship between faculty and student will be quite good in the campus. As already discussed the teachers here in the Warangal campus are very strict and they communicate with the students very interactively. Theh clear all the doubts a student has . A student even can go to the cabin of profesor and ask all the doubts he has. the faculty i personally liked is k.ramesh sir he teaches the important subject of cse data structures and algorithms (DSA) he explains the subject very clearly in such a way that a student understands it very clearly. The faculty i dint like is shiva darshan sir he teaches the subject programming and data structures (PDS) he didn't teach us that subject properly and many students didn't score well in our class in that specific subject. There will be 3 exams for each semister and each subject. Minor 1 and minor 2 each consists of 15 marks each. And a end sem exam which is conducted of 30 marks. Attendance has 10 maths weightage . It is given based on the persentage of the attendance in that specific subject. However few students fail the exam like 2 or 3 people per class. There is a course in 1st semister a subject which I felt is irrelevant. That subject is biology. We had biology in semister 1 which I felt is irrelevant

Then night life of our campus is quite good .we can roam around the college as its beautiful campus. Some people go to gymthere is a gym in our in 1.8 k hostel in first floor .also there is another gym near the stadium . And there are many food courts food areas and cafes in our campus. The famous hangout place in our college is time square it is a place where boys and girls sit talk and chill during weekends or day ends or midnights. After the whole day of college students hangout in time square as mentioned.the hostel timings for girls are 10 pm whereas for boys there is no time limit . The campus is very safe to roam around the campus is tobacco freee and there will be many securities in campus.
