Entrance Preview

Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Score not remember but i got UPTU rank approx 8000. I opted this college because I required computer science branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was exccellently designed. However the same was also implemented by teachers of the college. HOD of the colleges are also keen interst towards the benefit of the students also boost the student so as to strong their technical skills and get also got the ppo during the course itself.

Internships Opportunities

During the Btech there is stipend depend upon the student calliber. Internship also depend upon the two parameters one is for individual contacts and other depend upon the college contacts. Hence students are getting their stipend as per their own calliber.

Job opportunities are good. Hence it is also depend upon the percentage carry by the indiviual student. Hence student have to work hard to carry their percentage up to that on which they will be shortlisted by the company.

Gender ratios is 7M:3F. Hostel parties depend upon the occassion considered by the Hostel warden. Labs are well maintained by the faculty and their supporting staff. During the fest extra curricular activities been done by the students. Also students got appraisel fron the faculty for their good work towards the benefit of the college.

Hostel Facilities are good and also maintained properly by the vendors. Meal has been given thrice in a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. On every wednesday some special dish has been cooked by the mess person.

Likes

Everything was good except placements.
Campus was so engaging , has a beautiful campus , one can get to learn a lot .
Faculties was from either IIT's or NIT's with good humor and knowledge.

Dislikes

Student has to suffer a lot during placements for students who are from Biotechnology .
No one takes responsibility , if a student is unplaced.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become elligible for campus placements.From top companies like google , microsoft to new startups like Raspa , Protium all companes visits , Highest package was 96 LPA , 40% students get placed , rest suffers , if one is from core branch then they get chances for PSUs and other organization.

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

I applied to Delhi University but they did not have btech so I did not select that college. Apart from this I applied to rkgit and niet but they were too far from Delhi. I did not get rejection, I just couldn't join them because either they did not have the course I wanted or they were too far from my home. Other than IPEC, i wanted to join SRM Chennai. I was not able to join cause i was late to application and the only course that was available was Biotechnology. So i joined IPEC, in year 2021 it was under top 10 category for top colleges of AKTU. And also it was close to my home. Easy transportation, close to home, nice infrastructure. The admission process was quite easy, it took almost three days for me to fulfill it. And out of that one was only college tour day. Other two days took to fees submission and all documents submissions. The eligibility was decided by affiliated universitythat is AKTU, which is most of the time around minimum 70-75% in PCM.
