Course Curriculum Overview

4

My course is Btech Computer Science, so it's a demanding course in job market and it provides high skills so this is the reason to choose it. The curriculum prepare us very well for tbe real world applications by conducting assessments , labs , training sessions, seminars, certifications etc. so students get exposure to real world . Course can be improved if they focus on one language only over every year instead of teaching different subjects in different languages. Frequency of exams is nice as it prepares the students well for the semester exams. Just semester exams should be on time and not get delayed or postponed.

Internships Opportunities

4

For internships, a small portion of students have secured stipend-based internships for example at Paytm in Noida with stipends reportedly between ?25,000–?40,000, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in real projects before final placements.

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester itself. Companies visiting the campus are Accenture, Wipro, Cisco, Tcs Tata, Juspay, Ibm, Infosys, Amazon, etc. Highest placement is upto 35 lakh and average placement is 40,000. 75% of students get placed in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get placed and start working in corporate as a software developer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for my chosen course is Rs. 1,40,000/- for the first year and from second year onwards, it is about Rs. 1,26,306/-. The fees contains In the first year, scholarships are given to the top five performers and in the second, third, and fourth year, scholarships are awarded to the top three rank holders. Apart from this if any student secures any of the top 10 position in University level exam then their full year fees can be waived off.

Campus Life

4

Overall campus life is good and the College crowd is nice and goal oriented. Multiple clubs are present here including Technical club and prize winning Cultural clubs. I am part of the Theatre club and a Technical society. The Institution organises a lot of extracurricular activities like Dance and Poem competitions, various Quizzes, Hackathons, Robot fights, etc. Annual fest 'Udhbav' is also conducted which takes place for 2 to 3 days. Different engineering and academic books are available in the library and self help books are also available. Apart from it people can issue famous novels also. Classrooms has air conditioning for the first year and apart of it, projectors, smart board, white boards, light and fans are available in all classes.

Admission

I applied to Delhi University but they did not have btech so I did not select that college. Apart from this I applied to rkgit and niet but they were too far from Delhi. I did not get rejection, I just couldn't join them because either they did not have the course I wanted or they were too far from my home. My college admission process is pretty simple, you can take direct admission by visiting the college or fill councelling online and select this college. One needs to score around 3 to 4 lakh rank in jee for cse branch in btech and for other courses jee is not important you just have to score more than 60% in boards for pcm.

Faculty

4

There is around one faculty on 6p students for each subject. Faculty to student relationship is nice as they are helpful, except some of the teachers who are constantly taunting students for attendance and society related things. Faculty I like is the python teacher as she's experience. Faculty I don't like is one of the maths teacher as she always takes everything on her ego and continues to insult students for that. Usually 2 sessional exam , 1 pre university test and then the semester exam is conducted for one semester. Students usually used to get a back because of the AKTU system but then some of them gets it cleared by revaluation. Though now this college is autonomous so it will not happen usually. Earlier in one class there were almost half of the students with some kind of backs. Course curriculum is a little outdated in comparison to other colleges but now that this college is autonomous, they have improved the course curriculum and kept only needed and important technical subjects like Iot and Robotics etc

Night Life

3

My college is situated in the industrial area of sahibabad so there are multiple factories, banquet halls, showrooms and industries next to my college. Gym is available for hostel students, a big library building is available for proper seating along with a digital library. Closing timings is 7 pm. For hostel the timings are 10 pm for boys and 9 pm for girls. Famous hangout spot is pacific mall near Anand vihar and mahagun mall In kaushambi.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Placement Experience:

Taking about campous placement of my college so this is not so good like it is almost negligibe . If you want job then you have to fimd it by yourself and you have to apply by yourself to company. sometimes few prof. will help you to apply for some companies but most of the times you have to do it by yourself only. As in other colleges you will be elegible for internships from 2nd year is also the same thing you can start your internship when ever you get it. Almost no company visit here for placement but some time few companies come here for ME and Civil deparment students .the placement percentage is approx 35 to 40 percent. My plans after getting degre is to go for higher studies.
