Advantages: College teaching were good as very excellent faculties were there.Labs assistant were also cooperative and understanding so labs classes also good and benefiting. Disadvantages: College was at a very distant location from the city i.e 25km away so 2 hours daily wasted in traveling.

My branch was electrical and electronics engineering(EEE) and our college belongs to Biju Patnaik University of Technology(BPUT).We have all subjects same for all branches (i.e. EE, MECHANICAL,CIVIL,ECE) till end of 2nd semester(1ST YEAR).Then for next 3 years we have to study our subjects as per our engineering branch.

Many of my comrade were opted for higher studies or preparation of GATE and IES.But overall placement abd job opportunities was not good and job packages were very low.we were provided with British English Course (BEC) that didn't serve us in anyway.

Our college is very good at this like a function in every 15 days.And other events like TECHNICAL FESTIVAL is also there.Annual Function were never been good was always below average below expectation.

If i discuss about Fee structure wasn't quite good for a student coming from a middle class family.They will charge you for everything that to be at a very high price.But fee structure was quite feasible for students coming from out of odisha as they are getting stipends from their government for studying in odisha.

Yeah loan facility was there but at a very high rate of interest that is may be at 12-13%.If I talk about scholarship that wasn't given by college itself but was given by our state government and 3 to 4 times more by government of other states as students were coming and studying in our state.

Every Friday a class for extracurricular activities were there. Extracurricular activities includes Dance, Music,Drums,Carrom, Volleyball, Football etc were there. Classes for labs were there as our syllabus comprises of lab classes for every subjects.

All odisha entrance test OJEE was there to provide one candidate a rank to get into any of his/her preferred engineering college. One candidate has to give preference of many colleges chronologically as per his/her choice.If that candidate has got rank required by the preferred engineering college he/she will have to go through a document verification process at OJEE office and to get his choice locked for his/her preferred college.Then one candidate have to go to that college and documents will be verified again than fees submission than you are done with your admission process.

When i was in the college faculty were very inspiring and cooperative.Most of their teaching style was good as they all have already completed their M.TECH and many of them were experienced faculty and our Head of department (H.O.D.) was also very cooperative in giving us a ambient for study.College Principal was also a highly qualified professionals from a IIT.
