Likes
- The faculty is well qualified and helping. They provide a great environment to ask anything and put your thoughts in front of them
- The campus life is also good including cafeteria, where you can chill with you friends. It also has a guest house so that if your family member comes to visit you they can stay there.
- The infrastructure is very good, the campus is always neat and clean. There is a helping staff as well.
Dislikes
- The timing for girl's hostel is very irritating as for me. Like we have to go back to our hostel till 6.00 pm and we cant even roam in the cmapus
- The food deleivery is not allowed in the campus as the girls can't go after 6 to collect any food parcels.
- Any electrical appliances is not allowed
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always in science and innovation so i selected biotechnology. The ciriculum is very good. The timings of the conduction of exam is very well its not that hectic. The faculty makes sure that the level of exam should be that easy so that every student should qualify it very easily.
Internships Opportunities
The average package for bachelor's can exceed to 15 lakh per annum. The companies comes every year and the placement rate is 2% only. In last year you will have to submit a research work thesis and a patent as well.
Placement Experience
After 2nd year the students get eligible to sit in placements, but some of them didn't qualify the domain as some student have running back which doesn't allow them to be a part of placement drive. Some of the students also plan for higher studies. Multiple companies comes forr placements like: infoys, corgo etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fess of bsc biotechnology per semester is 60 thousand and after girl child scholarships and merit scholarship if gets almost 50 thousand. You will get 5% girl child scholarship and also army family student also get the advantages of the scholarship. Fees may also vary from state to state.
Campus Life
The social life of this college is very good there are multiple clubs in the college which conduct different events. The college also conduct fest every year. Every department also conduct fest of there own. There are also many sports event as well.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is quite good you will get the options of single double triple and four seater room. Total meals provided is 4. The food ia very balanced and nutritional. Also there are many pg around the college.
Admission
I didn't applied in any college, i got a recommendation of this from one of my friend who was earlier studying in this college. I liked the infrastructure the placement package as well. The admission process is quite easy and you can procedd it with online method as well. The staff in the administration is very helpful.
Faculty
The faculty towards student is very polite. They are really helpful towards students. You can ask your doubts anytime and coordinate with them. All the faculty here is a PHD qualified. There are almost 2 exams in each semester one is sessionals which is of 30 marks and second is semester exams which is of 60 marks there is also practicals which is of 20 marks. Assignment is alloted 2 in each semester. And 75% attendance is mandatory.
Night Life
There is a gym, cafeteria and a library as well. The demerit is that the girls are not allowed after 6 so its bit boring. The night life of campus is very poor for girls specially. Outings for girls is allowed in Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm.
