Likes

The teachers and faculty members are focused towards the students education.
There is washroom on every floor and are very , neat and clean
There is water facility filters available on every floor

Dislikes

The campus is very small compared to the student ratio
The automation cell in our college is not very helpful
Very less number of fans and does not work properly

Course Curriculum Overview

as I wanted to be a fashion designer. I choose bachelors of arts and the fashion designing department in our college is very helpful and advance. There are practical and theoretical classes. Both in this department of fashion designing and tests are allotted for the same. Test are scheduled on regular basis

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 32219 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is-32219. There is no Tuition Registration fees is1100. Subjects like psychology has practical material fee before every semester final exam, there is a fee of3210. There is no scholarship

Campus Life

There are many technical and annual festivals which are celebrated in our college like lohri, freshers, and farewell. There are a great number of clubs in our college, which are really helpful for gaining experiences and enhancing social life these clubs really impact on students life, and give him a new perspective towards the world

Admission

I applied to many other colleges like DAV, and other government colleges, but my priority was Sd College as This is a very good college with very high value and is very near to my house. The admission process includes the online form with a fee of 1100. and there isn't any entrance exam. Students are selected on merit basis.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is very good and the teachers are keen towards every students education, and teach everyone with great enthusiasm. Overall, the teachers are very good There are two exams and practicals before our finals if the students fail to clear the exam, they have to give the exam again

Night Life

as I am not a hostler I don't know much about the night life around the campus part. There is a sports room, cafeteria's Library public area with a parking to. The hostel timings is 730 a.m. to 7:30 PM the college timings are 8 AM to 6 PM

The Best Life of PGGC-11

Placement Experience:

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of i know the ggdsd college of chandigarh is considered the best college in chandigarh, and their psychology program is really good and that's why i choose it. The curriculum prepares us in many ways, they organize different types of activities and they even tell us about interships and how to grab them. I don't think that the curriculum needs any type of improvement, it is quite good. I don't have any problem with the frequency and the timing of the exams and their difficulty is also on medium-hard level.

GGDSD COLLEGE FROM STUDENTS PERSEPECTIVE

Elgibility was easy as people for any background rather say commerce , arts , non medical or medical . College doesnt have any entrance exam for admission.Students are admitted through centralized admission under DHE chandigarh. Eligibiltity of my course was just on my 12th class's board percentage. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the official website of GGDSD COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH There are reservered seats for specific castes although i am from general category so i did not get any type of reservation. The exams are held every 5 to 6 months after the semester end. And they are held from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 2 pm to 5pm.
