Likes

Class rooms ,all classrooms should contain digital board they are available in few blocks but students.studying on others blocks may face some issues.
It is very good to engage with people who are coming from different countries like nigeria, zimbabwe, Europe.They will talk in a sweetest and polite manner .
Faculty are very experienced and there will be some tech companies like bytexl. They teach some of the subjects . Teacher are very encouraging to students.

Dislikes

Some of the faculty will be teaching in hindi which is not understanding by the other state students who were weak in hindi.
Rules of hostel will hit different because they will change the rules after giving some rules by the form . We need no fill the form when we joined the hostel . Rectors are not available all the time.
Food in hostel which is very bad although it is a south mess.There will limited breakfast . No ventilation in the hostel rooms too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Subjects which very easy to learn . The subjects in the curriculum will get us to know how the world is moving in a faster way . Some of the teachers were showing just the code and the syntax rather than that they can show some e-commerce, website,chatgpt codes and how they have been created those . Exam will be for 3hr for sem and 1and half hr for mid sem exam.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year we wil be paying 175000 of rupees for college fee.Including all fees like lab,caution, admission. For the gujarat locality there might be some less fee because they were joining from the state exam. As of now it is 175000 of rupees but hostel fee vary on selecting by us. 175000 is for the persons who were getting good percentage (90&above) in 12th exams then later onwards it increases by there marks.

Campus Life

There will be some start-up meets in January and February. There will be a lot of book which are available in library.there are digital board in some classes and others contains projector connected to laptop.

Admission

I didn't applied to any college where as I got 40k rank in EAMCET ap exam so that I chose this because of no donation and affordable college fee compared to other college universitys in the south. Nothing went wrong I didn't applied for any college.You should pay 10k in advance for registration and the eligibility is 12th pass students.

Faculty

There will be 600-700 faculty for cse(inc specializations) and students were approximately 7000-8000. The faculty who were from north will be very closer to the students who are from north rather than south.If we have any doubts we can approach the faculty any time during the working time. Jashwath who teaches well and as a south faculty he doesn't show any partiality for north and south student . OS faculty who doesn't teach any thing except explaining ppt and sometimes he fogets and move to next topic in the next class . There will be two mid exams and semester exams for year. The midexam is very easy and the semester exam will be depend on how we are studying.20-25% of students will be failed for exams. The subjects are very relevant to the course that we chose.

Night Life

The will be a gym will be closed by 7-8 clock . Cafeteria and public are will be closed at 9:30 . library closed at 4:30 . Hostel will be closed from 9:30-4:30. There many types of canteen to hangout and outside the college there are very beautiful places to hangout with friends.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Campus placement is available in our college Most of students get plavement it means 80% to 85% students get placement After 3 year student get internship and then student get placement . Lot of companies come for placement like Tata, Reliance etc... Our college placement ratio is Lowest placement package is around 2 Lakh per year average placement package is around 3-4 Lakh per year And Highest placement package is around 6-7 Lakh per year.

What it feels to be a Parulite

After completing my 12th Boards I applied to a bunch of colleges and gave various exams to get a seat. I took the JEE exam as I wanted to go to IIT to pursue the same degree that I do now but unfortunately, I couldn't as I didn't get enough score to be selected for the advanced JEE exam. The other government colleges that I had applied to had a certain quota reserved for students from different regions and since I had to shift to a new city altogether that proved to be a hurdle. One such college that I had previously applied to before Parul University was the Maharaja Sayajirao College in Vadodara. I chose Parul University because I had good things about it and their placement scheme was well-known among people so I opted for this college. The admission process is pretty simple.
