Likes
- One is that the fee of college is very less as comoared to other Btech colleges. So this is plus point.
- College infrastructure and facilities are very good like library is equipped with wifi and high end PC's. Canteen is also present in campus.
- College has many active clubs like GFG, GDG etc and has sports facilites also like big ground.
Dislikes
- The college has a large student body, which can sometimes lead to overcrowding.
- Some of the faculties are bad which are very rude.
- This year 4 tests were conducted before end sem whuch I think are useless as we don't get time for self study.
Course Curriculum Overview
This college comes under AKTU. So aktu's curriculum is followed. It is basically like board system in 12th. Practical and exams are conducted by AKTU itself. In first year we have tp study all the subjects and all the branches have same syllabus.
Fees and Financial Aid
First year we have to pay 95000(to college) +20000(to aktu while counseling) +7500(aktu scam fee). Scholarship is available for ews students,i.e whose family income is below 2.5L per annum. Fee is affordable as compared to other AKTU colleges like GL Bajaj.
Campus Life
There are various events and fests held by college and clubs. Two big events fresher's and Unifest are held every year.Star nights are also held. Clubs also organize different events like Hackathon ls and blood donation camps.
Admission
To get admission in this college there are 2 methods one is through direct admission and other through aktu counselling (jee mains score).Cutoff is reased by aktu to get admission in college. Other college like NIET,GNIOT are not good than this when compared on the basis of placement. GL Bajaj is a good option and should be preferred over GCET, but it is very strict and has dress.
Faculty
Many faculty members are reported to be highly qualified, with advanced degrees, including PhDs. Mostly faculties are helful and supportive. Every class has a coordinator and on every 40 students there is a mentor. Four exams are conducted before end sem. 65 to 70% attendance is required to be eligible for exams. I don't like a electronics teacher Mr. Gavendra as he is very rude. He himself is very busy and don't get time to check our file and we have to reach out to him many tine for checking single experiment.He blames students for unchecked experiments but he is one at fault. Other electronic teachers are very good and supportive like Anil Sir.
Night Life
There is night life in greater noida. Places like pari chowk which are present 3 to 4km from campus have clubs and there are various malls like venice mall. A new mall is opening just in front of the college, india expo plaza. There is a huge india expo mart where different international expos are held every month. Locality is safe at night to travel. Many Gyms and cafes are present in knowledge park.
