A lower middle class family student experience in icfai

To improve real world workablelity of my course civil engineering i think more practical work is necessary not in the lab but outside of college campus where students can get some money after work because in modern times I think money is the biggest motivation so I think practicals should be done in the workplace along with learning the basics and real-life experiences other than some lab made toys.

In icfai after 5th semester of b.tech students are eligible for taking the campus placement interviews and exams ,the companies that visits are some state owned enterprises like ongc and private companies like Asianpaints etc in every placement season 6 to 8 companies visit icfai for manpower in campus placement the overall package of min 250000rs to 600000rs max packs are available and the rate of getting placement is very high according to news.my plan after getting the degree will be to start a enterprises about construction and design about new and old homes in real estate

There are no caste based fees alternative fees which 55000rs per semester and 110000rs per year this is an sc scholarship of 83000 per year and some general academic score based scholarships of 20000rs to 30000rs and some subsidys for top scholars which are optional form collage side

My campus life is pretty much simple from 9.15 to 3.40 collage classes 5 days a week their no private clubs in college but some extra courses r available for students,their are many sports activities for students and college laboratory is resources full with equipment to materials and learning resources are also platiful and their are more than 15 computer labs in college campus and pretty much every practical subject has its own laboratory

In icfai every hostel room is allotted for 2 students.in every rooms their are 2 seperate beds 2 bulbs,2 fan's, 2tables, 2chares and 2 cloth cobords and 3 small cobords for necessary things. Their is a gym available in hostel for exercise perpose The meal quality is pretty much good where at day timeveg is avilable and at night veg and non veg are both available. The hostel fees is 17000 per semester and 17000 for mess fees Their are no distinction between students in hostel rooms

For b.tech primaryly i choose 2 collages which are both in my state Tripura on is Tripura institute of technology and the other on is icfai University which is a private institute. After some advices and resource on online i think I choose icfai because it has more academic resources and their is a plus point which is icfai provide placement opportunities which Tripura institute of technology doesn't have

°In icfai about every 5to6 students form every class have a faculty of that class responsible for their problems. ° their are 1 midterm,1endterm,1classtest, 1assignment for every subject in a semester. °difficultly wise midterm and endterm exams are a lettel bit hard due to this too exams desides cgpa for the students. and the rest is relatively easy

Their is no specific enjoyable vannus like club houses near college their is a gym in hostel and cafeterias are available in college campus and their is a seperate library which is open for morning 8.00am to night 9.00pm daily. Hostel timeing for free outing will be 6.00am morning to 10.00 pm at night where after 8.00 pm college gates will be closed for students form going out of college due unnecessary reasons Hangout places for students at night will be outdoor playgrounds in college campus and nightstand near cafeteria
