ICFAI university baddi genuine review of 1 year

The labs of this University is best in locality colleges . It has an high range of instruments there for conducting experiments of many students at a single time. Other than labs , in classes there are installed projectors for teaching with ppts. Teachers use resources to engage each n every student. Later provide proper last minute notes to them for their examination. The exams conducted are average level but final paper is very difficult. There are conducted on a frequcy of monthly basis. 2 msts 1 improvement and 1 end semester exam, rather than supplies and back.

The internships are done on 5th and 7th semester of course . They provide a better internships. In many companies of Pharmacy in baddi . There is no stipend for internship program. There is no specific projects and outcomes to clarify this task .

Average placement of University is said to be 6L pa in prospectus but later youll know that it is 2L pa average during the time of admission. Later during your completion of course there are a lots of terms and conditions introduced to you regarding placements. Only few placements are provided to some of the students. During admission college shows a list of companies coming there such as Dr Reddy's, beta drugs , intas pharma,cipla ,brooks,nootan pharma. So my advice to all the students is to not rely on college placements as they arre not guaranteed you should have. To something for yourself .

It is a professional course and a fees of 50000 per semester is a very low for this type of course in a private university. It is under UGC pharmacy council. The fees includes additional scholarship of 1,20,000 on total fees of 400000 if you score 90+ percentage in +2 it is 100000 if 80-90% and 80000 if 70-80%. If you belong to sc,st,OBC vaste you can avail caste scholarship in which fees is refunded according to govt policies. The merit based scholarship is provided to only top 10 scholars of the semester .

The pharmacy campus has installed wifis but are for only faculty members. The classrooms are very large, very spacious ventilated well lighted , having a projector, white board, projector screen, and 2 Acs in each class. The sports facilities is quite good with every equipment. But the ground is too bad . College has a separate sports field but is maximum time closed. The college has a gym but is only for girls of hostel. College has a girl hostel in its 3rd floor. And a boys hostel 2km apart from the campus . There are no clubs in college and events are very few twice a semester. Extracurricular activities are a lot there.

I have applied for cuet exam and hpcet exam I got admitted in HPTU SHIMLA BUT I WASNT SENT outside of baddi town due to family issues. So in the end when cuet results were out, my family approached chitkara University baddi for admission but their admissions were closed and same with Maharaja agrasen University. So at the end I have only option to opt for this . There is only one eligiblity that the student should be having minimum 50% marks in +2 exams.

The faculty members are well skilled in teaching . Not everyone has experience some are new in teaching but there way of teaching is very good . By providing quick pr last minute notes and proper ppts. Some Teachers there are rude. During labs they teach each n every thing but during exams they doesn't show much interference in practical conduction. The mid sem exams are easy if you have attended the classes but end sem exams are difficult as the checking of papers is too strict. The practicals should be more attentively attended by the student himself and should not rely on teachers. Deepak sir a assistant professor is the best teacher there which helps students as a friend and is very kind .

Gym is quite bad , it is small but equipments are there . And is not maintained by a gym trainer the sports incharge only take care of it. It is only open to the girls living in hostel upstairs only at evening. There is one cafeteria having coffee and fruit shakes . And a single canteen which I have discussed earlier. Hostel out timings is 4.30 only on gatepass. And college staart timing is 9.30 to 4.10. for students. There arre no places to hangout outside the campus as it is located in a rural area only 1 cafeteria and a pizza shop is there outside the campus.
