PHARMACY AT IT'S BEST IN HIP- PAONTA

The admission process was quite subtle as teachers guided clearly about the whole process. General requirements were having plus 2 cleared in science stream. Counselling day or introductory day was a great asset.

The course curriculum is imparted to students at ease. The faculty-student ratio is great as there are 20 teachers for 200 students. Most of the faculty is Ph.D. qualified and teaching methods are quite unorthodox. There are 2 term exams for one semester including an optional 3rd exam.

From the 7th-semester campus, placements are initialized. Companies like Mankind, sun pharma, Tirupati, and Zeon visit. Every all-clear student gets placed. I did get a placement but decided to further study abroad.

The fee is not hiked regularly and can be paid in parts. Minority scholarships or caste scholarships can be availed. Further financial assistance is in form of a fee reduction of particular students who have brilliant scores but come from poor backgrounds.

Campus life is lit which includes the annual fest in march and the annual sports meet in February. Also, each month holds competitions like debate, quiz, poster, etc. Pharmacy day, teachers day, etc are also celebrated including farewell and freshers. Social groups like NSS are present. The library is fully loaded with books, journals, and computers. Classrooms are well furnished and ventilated.
