Students serve as a pharmacist

Lr institute of pharmacy solan is a very good college for a degree in pharmacy. Beyond studies, there are cultural activities and sports activities held on the college campus and also in another hptu college campus. Good laboratory facilities are available for practicals and hostel facilities are also provided for needy College students. Well educated and experienced staff is always there for students they always support and encourage students for better studies and a better experience. Overall college is very good. Admissions are held in the month of June and July and batch starts from August 1st to June 31.

I have a great interest in the medical field and I really want to serve my country so I choosed pharmacy for my future and LR is helping me to fulfil my dream. Well, educated and experienced faculty members they have and providing good education to students. Each batch consists of 60 students. Three-time per semester sessional exams are held after that internal exam are held and then final exams are conducted by the University.

Internships are done where the students want and there is no stipend during the internship. The internship is for 1 month in any hospital and company where the intern wants to do his job. During internship many roles are done by the intern they serve as a pharmacist and dispense medicine and do entries on computer inter also do dressing and stitches.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 20-30% of students get placement. After getting the degree I have planned for further studies.

Scholarships are provided for needy students and also for specific category students. There are different scholarship programs for different students. The scholarship is provided by the hp government and by hptu. For general students fee goes from 70000-80000 annually.

Tech fest is conducted in any hptu college and all hptu college are invited for participation. Sports meet is conducted in the month of march and culture meet is also conducted. several books and generals are available in the college library. All important days are celebrated in college campus like world pharmacy day, world AIDS day, teachers day and different participation are conducted like declamation, slogan writing,quiz competition etc. NSS is run by college volunteers.

I live in a rented room in solan. Hostel facilities are also good. Many students appreciate the menu. Meal quality is very good. The registration process is very simple you just have to meet hostel warden and he or she will help you and fully guide you for further procedure.
