SRMCEM, Lucknow college review for BTECH CS

The course curriculum at SRMCEM, Lucknow for the BTECH In CSE program is well structured. It covers fundamentals and advanced topics neccssary for a strong technical foundation , including programming, data structure , algorithms , databases, operating systems and computer networks.

Decent placements with companies like TCS, wipro, HCL, accenture, infosys. From 7th semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. highest pacakage is around 12 LPA to 18 LPA based on the student and the company. Average pakage is around 5 LPA to 7 LPA. percentage should be greater than 8 CGPA . My plan is to get placed off campus.

For btech cs in SRMCEM, lucknow the tution fee is 117110 per year and hostel fee is 75000 both for boys and girls. The caution fee 8000,(which is refundable if you have not destroy any property of college at the end of the course) admission fee for allotment of seat through councelling is 20000. there is scholarship through AKTU scholarship for every students. each have to fill the form every year from the college through AKTU scholarship website.

My college experience at SRMCEM, lucknow has been a mix of academics , extra curricular activities and personal growth. The college provides a structured and disciplined environment which is beneficial for focused learning but at the same time there are ares where campus life could be more engaging . There are annual festivals like Abhivyakti,Anubhuti , dandiya night ,etc There are technical fests like gantavya . There is held aktu zonals for sports every year.

admission is via through aktu councelling based on JEE result as well as direct addmission through management . Extra curriculars : Active coding clubs like geeks for geeks , hackathons and student events. There should be freshers party for the fresher student every year as well as other events.

Some faculty are quite good enough at their work and have a lot of knowledge about the subject. student and faculty relationship are well good because both have respect for each other. In SRMCEM, there are quizes each of which is 30 marks per subjects for every branch. There are total of 3 or 4 quiz cycle every year based on the marking critearia. At the end of the semester there is a final college exam that is the pre end before the AKTU final exam. This pre end will be of 100 marks each for per subject .The level of exam is moderate to high . The syllabus is according to AKTU . You have to work hard for passing the exam with good marks.

There is a small gym insisde the college campus which provides you to workout and maintain good and fit personality. Its more beneficial for hostellers . there are 3 canteens which offers you a variety of snacks anf foods at reasoable price. The timings for entering hostel is 7:00 PM for girls hosteller and 10:00 PM for boys. There is a big enough library for the students which helps them to study different types of books and they can issue it using library id card.
