Insides of MMCOE.

As I have great interest in mechanical engineering since my childhood. At time of admission I have researched many colleges in pune but I got really great reviews about MMCOE that this college offers great curriculum for mechanical engineering and has really great subjects with real life application. There are subjects who gives you the knowledge that is applicable in 21th century and for today's world it gives us the proper idea about the real world application. There are 5 exams in a semester which includes 3 Unit tests, Insem and Endsem. You can pass Unit tests with one day studies but for passing Insem and Endsem yo have to study thoroughly.

I have done my first internship at Jadhao gears pvt ltd where I have gained lot of knowledge about cnc cutting and machine designing. The college also gives you the many options for the internship programme as college has tieup with several companies such as FMCIII and tata motors. Here are some ofine projects 1.Design and devlopement of air purifier. 2.Blood sugar detection system. 3. Currency counter.

The eligibility criteria for the placement at MMCOE is as follows- 1.Student has to pass all the subjects from the syllabus (no backlog are allowed). 2. The marks of 10 and 12 th standard are considered. 3. Students are always adviced to learn the basic skills about their department subjects. 4. Students with some skills are prioritised. Here are some companies that have visited campus for recruitment- 1. Accenture. 2. Nvidia. 3. Infosys. 4. Mercedes Benz. 5. Microsoft. 6. Rolls-Royce. 7. Thermax pvt ltd 8. Polycab 9. Tata motors. 10. TCS. There are many more startups and several companies have visited campus. As per last year placement record college has secured 88 % of placements. As per my knowledge highest package offered at campus is of 22 Lpa. Average package offered at MMCOE is 5-6Lpa. My plans after my graduation are that I want to persue the PG.

I have done my admission process from general category due to this I had to pay the tution fees of Rs.98000. Also Rs.8000 is charged for the exam fees, Library fees and the laboratory security deposit. FE tuition fees Rs.98000. SE tuition fees- Rs.98000. TE tuition fees Rs.98000. BE tuition fees-Rs.98000. The tuition fees structure for each category is as follows-. General category-Rs.98000. OBC category-Rs.54,522. SC ST category-Rs.11000. Ews and ebc category-Rs.54522. Multiple scholarships were provided by the college which includes the EBC ,DTE, EWS, TFWS etc. There are some scholarships offered by the college on the merit basis which helps the topper students financially.

Campus Life at MMCOE is pretty much active and enjoyable you have lots of opportunities and things to explore. Information about Fests at MMCOE Main annual fest at MMCOE is ENSEMBLE which is very much joyful and carries lot of enjoyment. The sport has very important at MMCOE that college provides multiple sport grounds and also has the gymnasium and indoor games facilities at college and hostel both. Some of clubs at MMCOE 1.Baha 2.IEEE 3.Abhedya racers 4. Team rudra. 5.Robocan club 6.NSS.

The college Hostel will give you beds along with mattress and bedsheets, single cupboard, study table with chair for each individual student. College has separate hostel for girls and boy's and the mess for both hostels is separate. The fees for hostel is 120000 includes facilities below- 1.Mess. 2.Free wifi. 3.laundry service once in a week. 4.Gym. There is cleaning at hostel is done daily. There is locality named Karvenagar which has lot of options for PG and Hostels for both boys and girls. If you need rented apartment there are also many options of it but the costing is little high.

I have applied for these colleges - 1.VIIT pune for Mechanical engineering 2.JSPM pune for Mechanical and Entc department. 3. Sinhagad college of engineering for Mechanical and IT department. 4.MMCOE for Mechanical department. Reasons why I choosed MMCOE over these colleges- 1. Curriculum offered by the college is application based and focused on real world application. 2. Faculties at MMCOE are majorly PhD holders and well experienced within their particular subjects. 3.College has best in class placement records for Mechanical Department. 4. There are several clubs related to the Mechanical department which gives students work on real world problems and helps them to solve these problems. Admission process at MMCOE is not much complicated you can take admission with 3 modes such as CAP rounds, Management quota and Spot rounds. The overall admission experience of mine is that you have to come on the allotted date with documents listed by the institution. Then everything is handled by the college itself.

There is the ratio for student to faculty is of 20:1. This says that there are 1 dedicated faculty to solve the doubts and any problems of 20 students batch. Faculty at our college is very supportive as many of them are Phd holders and well experienced in their particular subjects. The curriculum offered by college is designed by college itself as the college is autonomous. Also the exam structure is very strict as no cheting is entertained in the college. Here is the exam structure of the college as follows- 1. Unit test 1 2. In semester exam 3. Unit test 2 5. Unit test 3 6. End semester exam The difficulty level for Insem and end sem is moderate. For unit tests you can easily pass it with the one day study.

The Nightlife at MMCOE is enjoying. Specially on weekends it has next level charm and students enjoys outing and eating food at different place because the hostel mess remains closed on Sunday evening. There are multiple options available nearby college campus for hanging out. Which includes many cafes , restaurants , shopping complex etc. There is not any threat to roam around the college locality at night. You can roam around the college area without any hesitation.
