Course Curriculum Overview

4

This college is up to date with the new carriculam which is 2023. Other than our core subjects we have courses on sprituality, culture, meditation, yoga, etc. as part of our carriculum. We are also learning ML, AI, Coding, etc. Their are different clubs and societies for almost every domain in which you can take part. Their are different workshops and talks organised most frequently . The exams are take two time in one semester i.e. mid-sem and end-sem therefore the frequency of exam is good. The difficulty Level is medium for mid-sem and somewhat harder than mid-sem in end-sem.

Internships Opportunities

4

In 5th sem compnies come for internship. Our college also provide internship in campus only for the students. Students got internship in microsoft, etc. The stipend i am not sure about it. If you have a good resume with good projects and/or research papers published, good skills you can crack any compnies oncampus or offcampus .

Placement Experience

4

The Placement rate in our college is around 95 percent which is considered as one of the good placement rate. The highest pacakge this year was 56L pa from paloAlto, and followed by Amazon, microsoft, Atlassian, etc. The students get placement from 7th sem and in 5th sem they get internship. Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, wipro, etc also took students in a good number with good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for my department non-scholarship is 300000 (tuition) + 72000 (Hostel + mess). Their is not any other fee that college charge. The caution fee is 10000 (tuition) + 5000(Hostel) which is refundabel once you finish your college. Their is a scholarship also and 3 slabs for that if you come under 1st slab your tuition fee will be around 1 lakh + hostel (same for scholarship and non scholarship), and it increases if you come under 2nd or 3rd slab. Our slab is decided on the basis of merit. Counceling fee is around 5000 if you don't get any seat it is refundable.

Campus Life

4

We have Vidyut which is grand fest organised in our college. we have a good library in our college which has a large amount of books for almost every domain and we have a online library also. we have a wifi connection all over the campus and the classrooms are pretty large and we have smart board, projector. we are provided gym, ground for football and cricket, basketball court , badminton court (in hostels also), swimming pool, etc. we have some good reputed clubs in our campus for almost every domain whether it is tech clubs, social club, art club, dance club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

We have a pretty good hostel. First year hostel has a room with attached washroom and 3 sharing. second year onwards we have a big room with common washroom and 4 sharing. we get good food here everyday we have different menu. The taste is decent to good level. The registration process for hostel is online it also affordable. I live in hostel but their are PGs available nearby.

Admission

I choose this college because AmFoss club which is one of the reputed club. The return on investment in this college is pretty good. I applied for thapar university but I got rejected their. The admission process is as follows:- -> Their is AEEE exam which is conducted by this college twice in a year and it is computer based exam. You can give this exam from any place in India. -> You can also take admission through JEE main rank . If you prepare for JEE main than you can crack AEEE exam easily. The difficulty level is somewhat easier than JEE main.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very much approachable to us even the higher authorities are very easy to approach and they are helpful too. faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:12 which is considerd to be one of the good ratio. The exams are take as follows:- -> For one semester we have one mid-sem exam and one end-sem exam. we get enough time to prepare for exam prepration and also if you want participate in extra carricular activity.

Night Life

4

we are provided with gym which is available in morning (6am to 8am) and evening (4:30pm to 6:30pm). we have 3 cafeterias in our college and many cafeterias in our hostels. The cafeteria is opens at around 6:30am in the morning and closes at 8:45pm. The library is open till 7:30pm. hostel timing is we have to enter our hostel before 9pm for boys. we can not go outside after that. we have TT table, badminton court, carrom board etc in our hostel. The hangout places would be beach which just 200m from our hostel and backwaters, etc.

The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.
