B.tech. from School of Data Science and Forecasting, DAVV Indore

I was also selected in another college but I have chosen this one for the reason that the college is located in city Indore which offers great opportunities and the course artificial intelligence and data science is the most trending topic right now. Our course also includes subjects that help us in social development the subjects like technical communication skill environmental science and Indian knowledge system are included. According to me before introducing new subject the previous one should be taught from basic to advance to make us industry ready. The exams are conducted in about 45 to 50 months gap.

Internships are also provided in our college the internship rate of student is about 20% or 25%. But the internship offered is two very few students which are doing great in academics as well as a developing their skills. You can also apply for off campus internships.

Our college also provides placement and students are allowed to apply for placement from 4th semester onwards some companies that offer placement are TCS, Infosys, HCL etc. The average package is about 3,00,000 and the highest package is nearly 12 to 13 lakhs the placement rate is 100 percent. Many student after the degree also go for higher studies.

For first semester I have paid around ?43,000 ?43,000 and for second semester I will be paying around ?27,000. Our college also provide scholarships that are offered by government like mukhmantri medhavi scholarship and also provide government caste based scholarships. My batch meets are also paying the same fees. The Fees is divided in tuition fees development fees caution money and in different segments the tuition fees is around 20,000 rupees and remaining money is in other segment.

In our college annual fest is also conducted named Pankhudi it is a cultural as well as sports fest. There is a department library as well as University Central Library the department library do not have much books but central library have a great collection of books. All classrooms do not have smart boards and are just normal classrooms. There are also some clubs in college like Google Developer Group and feedbox club. These clubs conduct seminar on regular basis. There is not much sports facility provided in our college if you want to play any sports you have to use your own sports equipment.

fI chose this course because the artificial intelligence and data science is the most demanding industry right now also the college is located in the city Indore which offers great opportunities in technical field. I was also offered MITS Gwalior but the branch offered here was better than branch offered there. In this college admission is provided on the basis of marks of CUET exam by college counselling.

Faculties are good and are ready to help students anytime they permit us to call or message them if we have any doubt related to the subject. The faculty that I like the most is Viketan sir. He taught us electronics and microprocessor the way of teaching is very simple and make us understand topic very easily. Three MSTs each of 20 marks and one end sem of 60 marks is conducted. Out of three MSTs best two are considered so the total marks of MSTs is 40 and including end sem 60 marks total marks of each subject is 100.

In hostel gyms are provided the hostel food is also good but the infrastructure of hostels is not that much good. If you want to join any private gym outside the hostel you can join. There are some contains inside the university campus and there are many cafes nearby the university so if the student want to hang out they can visit these cafes which are at walking distance from the university. Some parks are also there inside the university and also outside the university.
