Likes

teacher's avalibity of support when you ask them .not all are like that but still
Clubs are great and very active and they provide the opportunities a lot. But there will be no spoon feeding
Alumini circle is awsome. Teachrs also encourage you to contact them. There is no ragging in any form

Dislikes

The campus is in a very remote area so things are not readily avalible. Amazon delivery is there
Food here is not very good. Every afternoon all you get mostly is dal. Night food is even more worst
The faculty is great but they treat you like school student. for every thing there are long procedures that dont make any sense . The system are sometimes slow. They wont update simulation softwares easily .This ca be HETIC

Course Curriculum is moderately comprehensive bOTh theory and practicals are included internals- assignments, test,etc marking scheme: 40% internals and mid term 60% for end semester exams Relative grading of CGPA exams are very frequent personally , i don't like them . too many exams. no time

Fees and Financial Aid

I first wrote a exam and in the councelling process i got this campus ECE in slab 2. The fee around 2 lakh . but later years it will become more if you dont keep up your CGPA . The hostel fee for me is about 70 k . in the first year boys lived near the ashram then the environment was very nice . the timing are very flexible for boys . But for girlas it is a nightmare

Campus Life

Campus having good Social life good alumini circle no ragging friendly seniors at clubs approchable teachers frequent sports for boys and girls Fest: 1. Anokha(coimbatore campus) 2. Viduyt(in amrita puri campus) LIBRARY: well - equipped books, e-journals, and research papers some fictional books too Classroom: typical has projectors TEMPERATURES ARE VERY HIGH.AND UNCOMPFORTABLE

Admission

Applied to VIT, from EAMCET - i got VISHNU From Bhimavaram, Telangana EAMCET - JNTU VIT has a high fee - 5 lpa for mech jntu because of it's conditions There was a tie between Vishnu and amrita but Amrita had high NIRF ranking Admission process: Eligibility - 10+2 2.exams accepted-AEE,JEE MAINS cutoff- varies process- entrance,councelling, seat allotment

Faculty

The faculty is quite adequate. There are a lot of them. In my department only there are about 30 members They are very friendly and sweet once they get to know you. I love parvati ma'am, gatatri ma'am, Sreelekha ma'am and many others. some are very knowledgeable like - Rajesh sir Some faculty can be tough at times. I cant say any names cause they all were some other time very nice to us

Night Life

Girls hostel timings - till 5 30 PM only many restrictions about going anywhere for girls for boys have very less restrictions attendance is compulsory gyms are in both the hostels no night life for girls club goers have stay backs

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement cell in RIT Kottayam. From the 6th semester onwards students got placement training and career guidance classes and there are various clubs to improve your aptitude and chances to get the job through placement. The major recruiters of the campus are Oracle, Microsoft, Allianz, MRF, IDBI Bank, Infosys IBM, TCS, VVDN, WIPRO, Suntec EXPERION etc. There is about 75 % of students get placed every year. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Comprehensive review of amrita Vishwa vidyapeetam - amritapuri campus:A blend of academic Excellence and campus life

When choosing a college several factors played a role in my decision to select Amma the Vishwa vidyapeethum campus from my cyber security program over other institutions applied to. Compared with other colleges I applied to 1. VIT Vellore 2. BITS Pilani 3. SRM institute of science and technology Amrita has an excellent repetition for its faculty in cyber security. The professors are experienced and have a strong academic background along with industry exposure which was highly appealing to me. Including well accepted cyber security lapse. These lamps focus on practical penetration testing ,network security ,and ethical hacking. Amrita amrutapuri is situated in a peaceful coastal area offering a conductive environment for studies the campus life is lively with several extra curricular and co curricular activities that I found very attractive.
