Remarks

It is just an amazing college and I feel awesome about it But it is not like colleges shown in kahan Johars movies.You should be totally focused in academics. You will get rest 100% support from the college.

It is up to the mark. Academics is given first priority here.You must excel in academics. If you excel in academics you may get scholarship and you will get lot of support from the college and the faculties.

Internships Opportunities

Well I don't have exact information about this.As I am a fresher now I don't know much about whether college provides internship or not but talking about placements it has a very good past recordecade as far as I know.

Placement Experience

Well it has a record of good placements in top mnc's.They also give you proper guidance to how to cracking interview and also how to cracking the exams. So I think you can excel in their proper mentorship.

We have firstly freshers day then we have our college fest ignitia.We also have our college clubs which timely organise some or the other events to showcase our hidden talent. We also have farewell and graduation for seniors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible like any other private college.But if you are a good student academics wise you may get scholarships. You can also easily avail loan from any government or private bank as it is a reputed college.

You get scholarships if u are a merit student.Also u can avail loan from any government or private bank. They give you time to pay fees if there is some problem regarding sanctioning of loan.So it is very helpful.

Campus Life

Labs are to good.They don't give much preference to extracurricular activities. But yes you can take part in programs organised by your respective club.you van also take part in events of college fest.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good. We have both ac & non ac rooms.also the college mess is very hygienic. You also get laundry facilities. One room is shared among two to three people.So it is I guess satisfactory .

External Expense: Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

They support you a lot.They guide you about how to crack an interview. They also tell you about how to get internship. Which courses to opt when to apply how to apply.So that is why they are very helpful.

Exam Structure

We have monthly tests & also we do have assignments. Then we do have semester exams. Then we do have class tests. Before our semesters we have pre boards to check our performance. We also have online tests.

Admission

I had written upsee and I got it via counselling process. Then I went to the college and asked for the admission process showed them my result card asked them about fees submitted my documents and then I got admitted.

They are very experienced. They give you appropriate informtion regarding the syllabus. They also help you a lot to achieve success. They do not tolerate any kind of indiscipline. College is very strict regarding discipline.

Placement Experience:

Form the beginning of very first year students are eligible for the campus placements. TCS, cognizant, wipro, are the some companies visited here. Highest package is 44 lpa in amazon which is off campus for software role. Placements % is quite medium if you are serious about skill then you will be get a path here to go ahead. Arround 60 to 70 is the placement % My plans after getting degree is to get a job.

Galgotias University is Greatest!

Placement Experience:

No companies as here only lawyers of arbitration and other domains come to hire students. Most students though have PPO from their interning companies but not real 10-20 LPA placements for Galgotias and that i wish change because our university academics and the kind of learning that is provided is at par with that of NLUs.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this university is average not so good. Many companies visit here. And students get placed. And avg package is around 2.5 to 3 Lpa in bioscience department and in other departments it varies.

Good for learning and Skill development

Placement Experience:

Mostly te 6th sem (3rd year) got eligible for campus placement. Amazon, Accenture, AVL India, Atlan and many others (about 900+) visited and made 4000+ offers. The ave. package is about 5.25 LPA and highest crossed 39 LPA. Above 60%+ got their placement and the persentage of students receiving multiple offer is about 32%. After degrre want to build a strong carrer and to contribute in the grouth of Bharat.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.

I applied to PSIT kanpur , AKGEC Ghaziabad , KIET Ghaziabad and Galgotias college for btech cse. I got confirmed seats at psit and galgotias. I choose PSIT as it has a better campus , good study plan , high placement rate, and strong link with top firms . The labs and infra are modern and the faculty is helpful. for computer science and engineering you must have given jee main in which your rank should be under 500k and must have more than 75% in maths, physics,chemistry. you can also directly apply for that course; you just have to take the admission test on campus and clear the interview round.
