Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are good and the courses are selected by students based on their intrest we have exams at the end of semester and we have only one mid exam other than 2 so it's easy to pass and we have 70-30 pattern

I am Sai Harsha I am studying 2nd year in Gitam CSE.my college fee is 250000 and hostel fee is 15000 and they will provide you scholarship based on you rank in entrance exams. I have 20 percent scholarship

Campus Life

Campus Life is good and I am enjoying here in gitam as a student and they to conduct events every month and they also support sports and I am sports person and they conduct many tournaments in sports like cricket and Kabadi

Admission

I have chosen this college because I have my sister studying here and I thought it is a good choice and made into gitam.Full form of gitam is Gandhi Institute of technology and management it's main campus is in vishakapatnam

Faculty

There are around 400 faculty members in our college and they have phd in iits they teach well and they have good experience in teaching field.The exams are conducted twice they are mid and semester end examination

Night Life

Campus night is boring and I come to my room after completion of classes and take rest and eat my snacks and then do my assignments and prepare for upcoming exams and rarely I go for walk sometimes after eating

Placements are good in this college. If your asking me about my branch. It's mandate to do internships and skill training team make us learn things happening in the world for work. Many hardware and software companies do hire people from my branch such as capgemini, wipro, infosys etc. Cse it's different as they have the highest placement this year of 50lpa from Amazon for aiml.

my course is computer science and application , i was not intrested in it , but later slowly i felt like cs is the only subject i can clear it easily , you know what ,its true i loved the subject so i selected the course cse.it was my fathers dream that i shopuld become an engineer . bangalore is the IT city so all the areas whereever we have engineering colleges are the best . The main thing for the student is college can be anywhere , we have to study and we have to build the skill, i am not saying our college is good , each and every college has best facilities , everything depends on us ho we survive , and build our career if we study nice we are pass in our life , or eklse we are fail, so just study hard.exams are not so difficult according to vtu , they are student friendly. timings are all ok.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The standard of teaching here is so high. One can easily qualify competitive exams like GATE and GRE if he/she scores decent marks here. There is limit for no of students to join a elective. So many of the students often end up taking electives which are neither useful nor interesting for them. I think every students deserve a freedom to choose the electives of his interest. Each semester has a mid semester exam of 30 marks and 3 quizzes which comprises of 20 marks. And these 50 marks are considered as internals. And End sem exam is conducted at the end of the each semester which comprises of 50marks. And the final grade is obtain after adding these marks together and assigning grades using relative grading. The difficulty level of exam varies from moderate to hard based the lecturer.

I have met many students of other colleges during internships and many of them have said that our colleges placements percentage is much higher than that of colleges in Bangalore. With such high sized getting 7 to 8 students placed out of 10 is never easy. KLE has been doing this for years now and that too by maintening an average placements of 7 to 8 lakhs.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus selection. The company visited like TCS, Infosys, Vibro, etc. The percentage of placement is 50 percent. My plan is to be placed in a company and continue post-graduation.

I made my decision to enroll at GITAM University Bengaluru because it offered both a complete educational curriculum and extensive connections with industry. Admission Process: The admission requirements expect students who finish their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to hold minimum 60% overall marks.
