Gitam University offers three main admission pathways: the Gitam Admission Test, KCET or COMEDK (Karnataka State Entrance Exam), and management quota. Scholarships based on merit, attendance, and financial need are available. Students with a CGPA above 8 and parents earning less than INR 3 lakhs may qualify. Scholarships offer hostel fee concessions and discounts for high GAT ranks. Financial aid is accessible through Union Bank on campus.

The college's status as a deemed to be university justifies its higher fees, but they remain a concern for middle-class students.
