Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is comprehensive, relevant. A variety of courses are offered to ensure complete knowledge of the majors and minors that students choose. subjects are generally around HR, Finance, Marketing and Business Analytics specialisations.
Internships Opportunities
The college makes it mandatory for a student to do summer internships and some companies that offere internships are pin click, swiggy, SBI and they also have multiple summer programmes for students to choose from.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements are offered to the students through a dedicated committee known as the placements committtee. They conduct industry visits, internships with multiple companies and networking opportunities. companies like Pin click, swiggy etc have given placement opportunities
Fees and Financial Aid
At SCMS Bengaluru, The annual tuition fee is around 3,75,000 which can be split into two installments. The hostel fee comes up to 2,50,000. The deposit details are provided during the time of admissions. Scholarships are provided to students from abroad, and they are merit based.
Campus Life
Campus Life is filled with experiences that can make anyone happy. With equal importance given to all fields, students enjoy their college life. Almot all festivals are celebrated traditionally with other fun events for halloween, ethnic day etc.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is extremely spacious and has a bed, study table, chair, an individual wardrobe, shoe rack and two mirrors with a sink. you share the room with 3 other people, each room has a balcony and two attached washrooms. Food is good and the variety of food offered is also good.
Admission
The long history of institutes under Symbiosis International University, The major difference they bring to the students by ensuring that the students adapt to the corporate expectations is what made me choose symbiosis over other universities
Faculty
Faculties are generally approachable and maintain a decent relationship with the students. Students have courses ranging from accounting, research, supply chain management, french to yoga, world music, ballroom and latin american dances. this ensures the overall exposure of the students.
Interview Experience
students have to go through an interview and also go through an aptitude test that checks your verbal and logical abilities. the topics for the same are current affairs, finance, business etc and the panel usually personalises a few questions based on your statement of purpose and resume
Night Life
The college gym stays open till 9 in the night and the college also has a library and a reading room as well. There's a lot of restaurants within walkable distances around the college, there's also supermarkets and stationary shops
