Dislikes

Campus is confined to a short space. Don't have space to explore
Facilities and office staffs are sometimes rude when you want to get something done
Strict attendance tracking and compelling students to study

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum till now is easy to cope. It will get tougher but it is manageable. Statistics is a trending subject that has much scope in the future. Exams are taken per semester and is hectic but also manageable

Fees and Financial Aid

10,000 fee per year There is general quota, sports quota, conservation, community quota, management quota. We all have different fee structures. I have applied for inspire scholarship but I don't know if I'll get it. There are many other scholarships but I haven't gone through it

Campus Life

There is no campus in our college. However as it is so close to the city we have a lot to explore. There are many trending food spots as our college is in East fort. I'm there in the dance club. It isn't active as much. I don't know about sports

Admission

First I wanted to go to pondicherry university and learn statistics there. My second option was ISI Kolkata which is so hard to get. I wrote 2 entrances. Cuet and ISI entrance test. I failed both and the next option was st Thomas and I got in

Faculty

Some faculties are good. But the Majority of the teachers are un approachable and you don't understand anything they teach you I like dhanya miss from computer department and sajesh sir who is ou HOD There are 2 exams per sem. Internals and semester exam

Night Life

There is no night life. College closes at 6 p.m. There are 3 canteens and food is average. Hostelers have told their bad experiences with food. In boys hostel, food poisoning is common. As our campus is in city side, i guess it's safe but we don't really have night life. Selex mall is near and that is a common hangout spot

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

The college has a well functioning placement assistance. There are various companies including banks and Tech based companies which arrives in the college for placements every year. The placement assistant cell prepare students very well for the placements.They grooms the students and prepares them for aptitude test, interviews and group discussions which are required for placements.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.

I have choosed this college so that I can reach my hometown with in an hour as my parents have only one child and if they need any presence of mine as soon as possible, then I can run towards them asap I can do. I have received multiple admission calls from various universities and autonomous colleges, I have rejected them as my prefer was I told the early. The eligibility criteria is to attend the entrance exam that is conducted by the university, then they publish the rank list and will call them to join.
