What Students Say

Likes

Teaching skills of the teachers and the eco friendly environment in the college.
Good canteen for the food and other facilities.
Ground is also good even very supportive in the field of sports.

Dislikes

Average infrastructure, should be improved.
Events and more activities should be held.
Projects should be given in the monthly wise.

Course Curriculum Overview

For the exam purpose they should give us more training like solving the questions papers and make everyone easy for the exams. And other than that they give us a good ability and willingness to write out exam

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 165000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I have this year one lakh 65000 and it will increasly yearly and I belong to obc caste. Even I don't get any scholarship amount .Next year the fees will be increasing, I should study upto four years in this college .

Campus Life

Like in manglore there is famous dance of tiger and we celebrated pilinalike in our college and calssrooms are not that good comparison to other things . They do support for the sports and ground is also very good for the people to participate

Admission

I got rejected in the banglore rnsit college and then I got selected to this college. Same as the other college admission process . Cet is the most eligible exam for our college to get admission. Yearly the cut offs will be different and that is even based on the categories

Faculty

Teachers here in the srinivas college are very friendly and they even take the initiative in teaching something new for the students. And teachers even not hesitate to clear the students douts . Good and well trained lectures in srinivas college

Night Life

Cafe is good at Srinivas but not that wow, and in night it is safe here there is strict rules for the boys and girls around here . And even police will be roaming around night till 1 and it's not an raging college there are people who are very helpful

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Top recruiters like Bajaj , Mercedes-Benz , Siemens , Caterpiller , Bosch , Ola Electric Mahindra , Google and many more come to the campus. Around 250 companies visists the college including the Sillicon Valley tech giants. Highest Package is 55 LPA and average package is 16.25 LPA . Almost 93% of students gets placed. I plan to get into some core company

Placement Experience:

MVJ college of engineering has a good Placement record, for branches like CS and ECE The Placement activities are handled by Placement Cell, which begins preparing students from 6th semister through aptitude session, communication skills etc They maintain good score like 60% and above academic percentage the students are eligible for placement drive from 6th semister onwards At my time at college some 10 companies visited the campus Highest package from my batch is 5L per Annum Most placement are in roles like developer and Networking side for core branches they get opportunities in design, testing and maintenance roles Overall MVJ provides good placement opportunities

From 5th semester students can sit for campus placement even I am in my 5th sem currently I got offer from Infosys.Even till 7 sem students will get placement easily if they focus on skills as well as with decent cgpa of 7.5 ichances are high for them. Average package is 3.8lpa and highest is around 30lpa for 2026 batch forour batch it is just started .

Placement Experience:

Initially back in 2014 when I passed out, the placement opportunities provided were not many. However they had good placement co-ordinators. I believe the placements have improved now. Many companies visited back then, like HP, Infosys etc. However, students were also encouraged to take part in Pool Campus interviews to get hired. Highest package was around 4 lakhs per annum for freshers. Only around 15-20 percent of students got placed through the college.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to placement at the end of 6th semester from 7th Sem the placements will be more. For mechanical more than 15 companies come for placements mainly toyato, honda, TVs, etc and many manufacturing companies also visit. The highest package is 14lpa which was given by manufacturing company. As we reach final year the students will move to internship as they work in internship they will join there itself some gets placed in other companies but more than 90% of the students gets placed in the placements. My plan is to work in a company with a package is 8-10lpa and after I gain experience for 5 years I may change to new company if the existing company doesnot promote or hike my salary
