What Students Say

Likes

The quality of students is good as they have qualified jee mains examination and get this college.
You will get good and supporting teachers here.
Lab facilities are very good here. They are well maintained.

Dislikes

I don't like the fact that they don't provide internship opportunities.
It is very hard to get NOC here from college for doing any internships
The students admitted through management quota are disturbing.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very outdated but you will have to do it for the exams. It is not relevant with today's time. C language is taught in the college. The exams are regularly held here like there are 3 sessionals here.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 115603 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. Usually small companies visit here for placements and usually they give 3 to 4 lakh per annum. Almost 85 percent students are placed. I am planning to get college placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fess for my college is ?1,15,603 including everything but you have to pay ?7,500 for abdul kalam technical university examination fee. These are same for all students and BTech students. You can get UP scholarship of around ?55,000 for gen & obc.

Campus Life

Campus life is pretty much good here in this college. Freshers party is held every year and that too at good level. Annual fest which is UNIFEST is held every year and it is best event in the area. There are so many clubs and societies in the college, like technical, managerial clubs.

Admission

I have applied in so many colleges like JSS, Jaypee but I couldn't get enough percentile to get into these college I have got 88 percentile. I chose this college because of the fests and events here, there are so many opportunities of exposure. You can get admission here through AKTU counselling.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good here. Faculties are good and supportive. They are easily approachable at a call and available in their cabin. Some teachers are rude but it is the case of every college. Exams are regularly held here. Course curriculum is very outdated.

Night Life

Night life is not so good as you can't get out late if you are residing in college hostel but there are cafeterias where you can hangout with your friends. Gym is pretty much good but usually crowded, library is also very good with books.

Other Applied Colleges

JSS Academy of Technical Education - [JSSATE] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't get it in counseling

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

Galgotias College Brutal Honest Review

I have applied for Bihar State Nalanda college, chandi. It gave me aerospace engineering. I didn't choose that because their course curriculum with their faculties and college culture is not fit for getting placement. I wanted some placement oppurtunities through my college and GCET is suitable for it because of their location and college culture. My admission process of my college is through direct admission as well as UPTAC counselling. Direct admission is for those who have low JEE ranks and outside of UP and are early comers. Counselling is for merit based admission for UP students generally with better JEE ranks than direct admission students....Read More

I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
