Remarks

Overall, I would rate the college as average, faculties should be more equiped with practical and technical knowledge rather than theorotical knowledge since it is an engineering college. They only teach how to pass the examination rather than giving knowledge as an whole.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

I think the course curriculum follows the university pattern. No extra efforts are taken by tha faculties to give background knowledge about any of the subjects, It's just, this is your course you have to mug up and score inorder to clear your academics. They dont reallu care about whether you understood about the subject or not. So as academics, I would rate as average but faculty wise I would rate them very poor.

Internships Opportunities

No they dont really provide any sort of internships, they ask you to search on for internships on their own. But internships are compulsory, no matter what internship you do. They provide you a time slab of semesters. And the internships must be of a month or more.

Placement Experience

2.5

They try to show their placement stats as 100% but in actual reality 90% of the engineering students are placed in BPO's. They have tie-ups with 1-2 good companies, and they hardly take 1-2 students as placed, and later on during the joining they say of taking another exam for joining, fail the candidates and reject them. So do not go on by placement stats, they dont really get a joining.

College Events

3

Jallosh is the biggest event of the college. It can be called as a concert. Other than that shikhar is a technical event just after the Jallosh. Also ganpati, diwali and jhulelal jayanti is celebrated in the premises. Events are fun to celebrate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Like any other colleges in the Nagpur university. Jhulelal has the same fees structure. I wouldn't call it feasible but yes the fees ranges from 90K to 1 lakh per year for Open category. But if you belong to any backward category you do get scholarships from the government

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are loan facilities for the students, the college does have tie-ups with some of the finance banks. But I wouldnt say much about it as i do not have an idea about it, since i did not opt for any loan schemes. But the management team does help in regard with loans

Campus Life

3

They are good. There are a lot of events that take place like dancing, singing, modelling, box cricket, football and many more. Also their are committee that help as an NGO to poor people in and around the college. People who cannot afford education are helped by those student committees

Hostel Facilities

2.5

There are no residential hostels in the campus of jhulelal institute of technology. But if you are desirous to get rental rooms you do have the option in the near by areas. Few of my friends used to live on rent in the nearby godhni road area

Alumni/Alumna

There are some alumni meetings held some of the students do attend them. But it isnt a huge network, since many of the seniors are still not placed and they dont really like showing up to the juniors.

Exam Structure

The whole curriculum of B.E has 8 semesters, in 4 years. They are conducted in Summers and winters respectively. These are the university exams whereas the college conducts their unit tests and Pre University Tests before the university exams

Admission

I actually opted for the direct admission process. I wanted to take admission in Jhulelal Institute of Technology. I gave an enterance i.e JEE. And the JEE scores are needed to take admission into this college. The main admission process consists for CAP rounds. I wanted Jhulelal Institute of Technology so I opted for it in my cap rounds and i was selected.

Faculty

1.5

They are very poor when we talk about the faculties. They dont really have a subject knowledge. They just do their studies look onto some youtube videos and teach the students. While some of the faculties are genuinely good but 60 percent of the faculties are freshers and they dont know how to teach
