What Students Say

Likes

The most important thing in JIt is the classes are conducted for all subjects and all sylllabus is thought with details.
The faculties are very helpful and always professional regarding the academics.
The college life is also very happening as many events are condcuted throghout the year for students.

Dislikes

All JIT facilities are very good but canteen can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose Electrical Engg. as it a core branch and i am interested in it. The curriculum of electrical engineering is good but new subjects and practical labs are of trending technologies should be there. Some software courses shold also be added.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

fees are as per the norms, very helpful accounts department is there so no issues. Scholarship department provides all the details of scholarship application, Institute also helps to clear the issues related to scholarship. Very helpful with regards of scholaship. Students also get financial supports from college.

Campus Life

Campus life is very exciting. For overall development of the students variuos clubs has been formed, like Rotract club, NSS club, SRC body. This clubs are responsible for extra curricular activities, social activities, activities related to nation building, sports activities. This bodies are run by students and students take various posts and responsibilities in the bodies.

Admission

The application process is as per the government norms, CET CELL MAHARASHTRA is responsible for the admission process and college there with facility centre so no problems are faced during the admission. the online process is followed for admission and the college was very helpful for form filling to problem solving.

Faculty

The faculty student ratio is very good. there is one faculty available for 15 students. JIT also employs mentorship programme where students can share their problems with faculties/mentors. Teaching is very nice as all the faculties are educated from reputed colleges.

For Placements, you are eligible from 7th Semister of your graduation, and till last month of degree college provides exciting and good placement opportunities, also provide good training for placement oriented learnings, also make industrial visits often to students. Highest package is 8LPA, and Average package is 4LPA, 60 - 70 % students will definitly get place till end of the 4th year. those who don't want placements they will opt for Master or any thing else.

Placement Experience:

From third year student become eligible for campus selection . There are many companies like cap gemini , infosys , tata elxsi, tech mahindra ,TCS , amazon , moto hunger,WIPRO ,MNC etc Highest package is 12 lakh for it engineer in RT Company And average package of 3.6 lakh for ENTC ENGINEER. The rate was 520/600 i wanted to pursue a M.tech after my degree.

Smarted , collaboration with Microsoft and many other companies visited and offered intership and training program for more than 100 students from 1 year. For internship highest package was 50000 for 2 projects. 90% students get placement. My plans after getting degree is to get placement in a high value company with my experience with intership knowledge

Insightful Journey: A Realistic Review of My College Experience

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for placements starting from 6th semester. a few companies visit, with around 5 offers made . The highest package made till date is of 8LPA and average package is of 1.5LPA. onlu a small percentage of students secure placments. After completing my degree, I have planned to pursue higher studies by giving the GATE exam in CS.

Not sure about which semester students become eligible, but from the 4th year of the course, students are eligible for the campus placements. Some of the companies recently visited with the offers and package provided are as follows: 1. Asset works: 10 LPA 2. WSETEK: 2.4 LPA 3. i4t : 3 LPA 4. TCS: 7.5 LPA 5.TCS: 3.5 LPA 6. Sankey Solutions: 4LPA 7. Orange Business: 5LPA The highest package offered in the college is 10 LPA which is recently in Asset Works whereas average is about 4-5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed in my opinion would be around 50-60 percent. Also my plans after getting the degree would be securing a job with great package.

Nice college for Engineering

Admission:

I applied for the college based on my JEE main score. Admissions are also done based on the score of state level Engineering entrance examination that is MHT-CET. However if one has given the JEE Main examination then the state level examination doesn't matter much. I got this college in the second round of counselling and took admission in it because I know that my score was not good to get into NITs or on the IIITs. This is institute is known for its Engineering education that's why I opted for it.
