ALL ABOUT IESCA

our teaching curriculum not only concentrate more in theory but also in practical knowledge..i love how our faculties teach us through seminars , assignments and site visit. site vist gives us more knowledge about our learning subject. we have a very supportive principle who allowes us for a lot of site visit and live case studies.

we have internship in our 4th year we have to submit our portfolio to get selected for an interview. the portfolio will contain the projects that we have done in our previous design classes. we had snack bar designing in our 1st year. we had residence project in our 3rd sem in our fourth sem we had documantation of chettinad and designing of community center. in 5th sem we had designing of a residential school project and in 6th sem we have redesigning of ksrtc bus terminal..we can also submit of works that we have done in our interior design and also works of working drawing. we can also submit our other extra activities and achievements. the internship is for 100 days internship gives you a more depth knowledge about architecture.

The academic programs in iesca are excellent. The faculty is knowledgable , approachable , and passionate about teaching. The curriculum is well-structured , and the course offerings are diverse and relevant. I particularly appreciated the research opportunities that helped me gain practical experience in my architecture field.

we have an event called akhara which focus on sports and athletics...they are mostly condeucted in september or january.we have a library which contains most of the book that we need. we have our syllabus book and books about architecture, landscape, building material books from all over the world. we have digital boards, pin up boards black borads , drawing tables , normal seatings, fans..lights etc. we have a lot of clubs like litterature club , drama club , arts club , environment club ets..and also we have ssa and nasa which gives opportunity to meet other architectcs from other colleges.

miss jelajha is our college warden and some of our teaching faculties also stays with us in hostel. our warden is very strict in tyming after 5 om no one is allowed to get inside or outside of the hostel. and she also keep contact with our parents regularly.the meal quality is good we have braek fast , lucnh , evening snack and dinner. we were also provided with special foods in some festive occations. and we have some quite good pg in same neighbourhood context we have av apartments which is only for girls and..some pg in chittilapily cenetr.

i first applied for thejus college..but i was attarcted to ies college.. i saw how they learned their syllabus through practical knwoledge. i was also attracted to the campus facilities. i didnt get rejection in the college i previously applied , i actually transferd to ies. i got admission through keam and nata examination..and i was selected through merit rank list. nata is the examination that you have to take inorder to join b arch.

we have 40/40 students in our class. the teacher and student relationship is very apprectiatable. They more feel like our own family.We never feel bad or tensed to approach our teachers to ask doubts about our subjects.my personal fav faculty was miss mariya simon she mad me to love architecture more and she helped me to make a vision for my career. she right now my role model.and now speaking about exam..we totaly have 10 semaster..2 sem are thesis which is condected in 5th year. and in 4th year we have internship..rest of the 7 sems we have university exam...and in each sem we have 2 series exam which will be used to value oru internal marks.

no...we hadnt faced any interview , or any group discussion in order to get admission. well we have written test called nata (national apptitued test for architecture).we have to score above 70 to pass the exam and requires marks above 100 to get admission in a good college.

talking about night life we have a very less night life..i think like we have only once or twice get an opportunity to sepnt night in college. hostel and campus timing is very strict.campus timing is from 9 am to 4 pm no students will be able to get out of the college during class houres.our famous hangout spaces are created by the students we have an area which is decorated with bamboo furnitures and frame works which are all created by students itself..we have a space which is coverd with wall paintings which were also done by us.
