- The environment is very student suppotive.
- The central library is a great place for most kinds of study material.
- The arrangements for fests and other celebrtions is quite an experience.
Dislikes
- There are too many students enrolled in the whole of University
- Lack of management can be seen at times.
- Much required to have an entrance test in my opinion.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty members explain the need of practicality in our course and in our lives. Much of the syllabus is easily covered and quite intresting too. Although, Some subjects do make me question their presence in our time tables.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee keeps on increasing every 2 semesters and the scholarship applies for the people of the same state (Uttarakhand), Resulting in a decrease of around 10% of the main fee along with your merit score of Board exams which applies for you to have scored above 70% in them. For the bachelors course there are different specializations too which don't affect the fee structure at all. The course is pretty affordable in my family's opinion and mine too.
Campus Life
The campus life is quite nice and doesn't require a lot of involvement from your side if you want to involved. There are a lot of students and lot of people from different places in India. The clubs and committees are a must in my opinion. They really enhance your social life.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel fee is quite okay. Pretty Affordable and manageable. There isn't much to do in hostel, so to better have a hobby. The meals were quite okay but went pretty downhill after a while and there was no consistent understanding of how the food is going to be. The PGs are also quite good around the campus and much recommended from my side. But the hostels are good for the first year for sure.
Admission
The college seemed well enough for the bachelors experience and the environment already is quite fine. There wasn't much to pass for the admission which makes me think that It would've been better if there was an entrance test. Overall the marketing of the college is quite good in my opinion.
Faculty
The faculty keeps on changing quite a few times but those who are selected for the teaching are quite good teachers and possess a lot of experience to share. Many faculty members are easily in communication network which makes it even better to feel connected to them as well.
Night Life
There is a decent gym, a good cafeteria, a nice library and quite a lot to do around and look around. There is not much of night life to be honest. Everything closes soon enough and not much to see around. Can't exactly say if it is safe around the college but it is just above okay, don't go around too late around the campus.
