- Faculty is excellent here , this is a kind of college where the faculty actually teaches and innovates rather than being subjective
- Campus is not that big but it's enough , social interaction is very easy and good
- Infrastructure is excellent here , college is a bit strict over academics which is a good thing , they have personal development class , Automation lab , CS lab ' MOS labs every single lab is there for each branch for practical experience
Dislikes
- Mess food is not good, although they are changing it now but still no one knows what will happen
- Placement are less , faculty don't have stability although it's the fault of DBATU University
- University is just crap , one can write the whole 60 marks end sem exam and still be scoring 35 or 40 , its hard to keep cgpa more than 7
Course Curriculum Overview
Since my branch is electrical engineering, I wanted computer engineering branch but I saw more opportunities in electrical in this college the labs they are making seem more reasonable and practical, I'm not sure about weather it's enough for real world application Frequency of exam are too much there is no rest for us
Placement Experience
Placement are not really good here , let's be honest zero to no placement are there only 4-5 student gets placed in and average package the packages banner shown in college are mostly off campus placement Placement are available in 4th yr My plan are to study higher and opt for M-Tech
Fees and Financial Aid
Year-wise fees I paid availing caste benefits of NT category is 11390. this fees are marked as development fees since the tution fees for categories NT/VJNT/ST/SC is zero, and the development fees paid are yearly ( 1yr =2 semester)
Campus Life
Avg freshers party are conducted a month after the addmission MB2 event is conducted after end sem exams Events are less here They have a great library for one who seeks knowledge Classrooms are good projectors are their , and classic whiteboard and markers are preferred Sports are available indoor and outdoor extra caricular activities in sports are available inter University and other colleges Students can run group and clubs but there are no involvement But college have best social interaction
Hostel Facilities
Facilities in hostel are great a nice big room for only 2 people with attached bathroom in each room , geaser , watercoooler are there , these are luxury hostels but only flaws are network is not available here of any service provider and no wifi is provided Mess quality is okay not that good Registration is easy just have to fill a form and very affordable only ?23000/- a yr
Admission
I choose this college because unlike other colleges this college is focused over learning and knowledge in a very affordable fees although I didn't require this fees benefits , the faculty here shapes is for innovation but sometimes this can be too hectic Addmission process Addmission through exams like MHT CET and JEE MAINS are available High cutoff is only required if you are opting from JEE 80-85%ile MHTCET even 50%ile can get admission in Computer engg just go till the last cap round
Faculty
Faculty is excellent they are always available for us evn at night , student to teacher ratio is good enough and faculty have good bonds with us Exam structure CA 1 and CA 2 (internal) are conducted during the normal classes each of 20 marks and 20 marks in internal are minimum for passing the subject even if you score well in end sem exam but you don't have 20 in internal your subject will be back. MSE ( mid sem exam) are conducted near nov -dec It's a 20 marks exam where passing marks are 8 these doesn't really matter practical exams submission of every subject are there and 20 marks of written+ performance practical is there and viva 10 marks viva is taken by externals End sem exam of 60 marks and passing is 20 marks generally conducted in February
Night Life
cafeteria, library is only available during college hours Gym is available in evening Boys can roam around in campus late night no one say a thing for that but girls hostel is strictly closed by 8 pm To raom around is not quite safe since college is outside the main city , night life feel so good here the peace you want can be found here
