Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very much up to date. Professors provide us with real life implications as far as possible. Labs are also there for most of the subjects which makes the subject even more interesting. Exams are taken twice in each semester - mid term and end term.

Internships Opportunities

3

Currently, I am in 2nd year. So, I cannot tell anything about the internship opportunities as our colllege offers internships from 2nd year. However, companies like Honeywell, Cisco etc. offer internship opportunities with a pretty good stipend. Companies provide PPOs as well.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are very good. The placement percentage is very high and the packages are also very decent. Companies like JP Morgan, Cisco visit our campus every year. I would also like to get a placement in a top MNC after completing my degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For general candidates, tution fees is 125000 per year and mess/hostel fees is 65000 per year. For ST candidates, there is no tution fees. However, ST candidates have to pay 65000Rs for hostel and mess facilities. There are a number of scholarships available for UG and PG students.

Campus Life

4

Good campus life. It's ragging-free. We have a central canteen as well that is open till 6p.m. We have 2 night canteens - 1 for boys and 1 for girls. These are open tilll 3a.m. There are lakhs of books available in the library. Two fests are conducted in our college - The cultural fest (Blitzschlag) - It is conducted in February. The technical fest (Sphinx) - It is conducted in November.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't stay in the hostel. So, I can't tell much about it. From what I have heard, the hostels are good. They are cleaned regularly. The mess food is above average. The hostel also provides the students with common room where students can play table tennis, chess and watch television.

Admission

This colllege was ranked higher than others in the NIRF ranking. The placements were pretty nice and the college was close to my house as well. So, I didn't have to opt for a hostel. One has to give the JEE-MAIN exam if one wishes to join an undergraduate program in this college.

Faculty

4

The course curriculum is very much up to date. In the 1st year, we are taught subjects from each and every engineering field. From 2nd year, we are taught branch-related subjects. Teachers are highly qualified. Exams are of a medium level. There are 2 exams in a semester - Mid-term exams and end-term exams.

Night Life

3

A new gym has been created in our college which is good. We have a computer centre for those students who don't have a personal laptop of their own. They can fo there and use computers anytime and do their work. No in-time for boys but for girls, 10p.m. is the in-time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

. The timing of each exams will be 2 and half hours . you have to appear to the exam hall before 2 hrs and you have to submit all your belonging to the invigilator like phone etc., . Improvement area of the course is the notes they provide, the exam questions they ask some time is out of what they teach they expect us to know more than they teach. . I over all fell good about the B.TECH in pursued and I would also do my MBA from BITS . I choose this course because it will not affect my work and i complete my BTECH with work and all people and organizations will recognize the course we done with BITS
