- This collage comes with a good amount of Events
- They do have labs and practical work is done in a good amount
- They have air conditioners in almost every lab and classes
Dislikes
- Campus is very much small and they only have food franchise of nescafe🤡
- Crowd is mixed with village students and city students basically I didn’t like the crowd there
- Washroom sucks as the seats are broken leakage problem sometimes hand wash is not there
Course Curriculum Overview
Couse curriculum is good as they teaches us new languages in bca and according to me I don't have any problem regarding the curriculum but the way of teaching for some faculty is not good so for that particular subject student suffers and student think that curriculum is not relevant
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for complete course is 90 thousand they take fees in 2 installments for one semester in year 55 thousand and for another semsester they take 35 thousand and they also take 1000 rs for admission form In some cases they are giving discount of 5 thousand rs per year (if request is made)
Campus Life
Campus is very much small but they offers almost every sports basically it's for hostelers or local students we day scholars didn't get any time to go to practice everyday but can't drny they have a big ground and have almost every sports They do organise many events in a year which is a plus point for this collage They do have a student portal which is not currently working (only working for fees submission)???? They have a good Library which is a great thing here but due to less stock of books they get out of stock very much soon near exams
Admission
I applied in Chandigarh University I applied in IPU Delhi I applied in UPES Dehra dehradun and I applied in KUK University and in PIET I chose this collage as i required a govt university degree and IPU was not offering me good collages and i didn't get direct admission in KUK University so to get KUK university degree I preffered to choose PIET THERE IS NO OTHER REASON I AM STUDYING IN THIS COLLAGE(which is worse then a School)
Faculty
In a year they have 2 semesters each semester they conduct 3 mid sem or seasonals in 3 of them we have to pass any 2 and in semester exam some question papers are easy but some are very much high level questions sometimess questions level is so much high that we haven't studied in class overall faculty is good some of the faculty have PhD degree they also support us and teach us in a funny manner for better understanding but some faculty are literally disgusting as they talk rudely and if we say something then they cut our attendance for 2-3 days????
Night Life
There is no Night Life in collage and for hanging out tgere are 2 gardens and one OAT( Open Air Theater) and according to me these all are useless but yrr kaam to chlana pdega he na abb They do have a veryy good thing a cafeteria of computer systems (NETCAFE) ehich is a great place to hangout and sit and use computers but due to its less capacity sometime we don't get seat inside????????
