Course Curriculum Overview

College syllabus is mostly practical centric which is helpful for industry level experience. Syllabus is designed in such way that it is most industry level concepts. College provides the necessary guidance to crack an interview

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 61000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees for open catagory is 98000 INR per year. I'm OBC Category student and fees are 61000 INR. One of my is of SC category and his college fees are 19000 INR. Other college fees include: - library fee _ internet fees

Campus Life

I have been in this college for about 2 years now and it has been nice experience with college campus and its amenities. The overall experience if you talk about is that college is nice place study in for student like me

Admission

I chose this college primarily becouse it is very near to my residence plus i have had heard about its placements news. One of cousins was previously studying this institute so he recommended me this college

Faculty

Teachers and faculty members are interactive and provide their precious experiences to us. Teachers elaborate each concept very easy manner so that most of the students understand the concepts at college itself

Night Life

Actually i have idea about the nighy life of the college because i never come to college at night time at all But some of my friends says that college is only accessible for library purpose and thats it

A balanced college experince with academics and campus activities

the course is fairly relevant and covers the fundamentals required in the Field of CSEDS . the curriculum helps students build basic knowledge that can support both industry career and higher studies. the exam structure generally includes internal assessments, assignments and end sem examinations, the frequency is manageable.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

VIIT : Not like you expect

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

Placement Experience:

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.
