- The girls to boys ratio is roughly 1:5 in my class
Dislikes
- The college canteen is not really well maintained
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum so far is pretty relevant to the current job market scenario. But the application of it is kinda poor, teachers take exams without completing the entire syllabus. There are two IA exams each sem and one endsem exam conducted by MU.
Internships Opportunities
As of now I don't have any knowledge about the college internship scenario but I've heard that most internships you get in this college are off campus which you can get by applying to various companies entrance exams
Placement Experience
Most of the mindspace companies visit this college and one may expect a placement of 3-8lpa upon your merit. The average placement is 3lpa while the highest usually goes up to 8-9lpa. My plan is to pursue masters after this degree
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 103k for general category including everything, with the tuition fees being roughly 78k, development fees being 12k and rest is miscellaneous. You can get a scholarship under the government of maharashtra though if you fit under the merit which typically grants you a 50-80% scholarship on your fees.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest called as milestone in this college it's typically held in feb - march. The college does not have a ground of its own for fests and annual sports it uses the nearby school ground. The library has all books relevant to the course
Admission
I chose this college because it was the best shot at my MHCET percentile. I got a rejection from Pillai and SIES so I chose this college. This college usually admits students through MHCET but you can also get in through your JEE mains score
Faculty
The faculty is very kind to the students and the college comes under mumbai university so there's two internal assessment exams and one end sem exam each sem with a lot of assignment work. The end sem exams are pretty difficult to clear while the IA ones being easy
Night Life
There is no night life in this college as there are no hostels, but there are a bunch of cafes nearby where student prefer to visit also the college gym is rarely open. The college is open from morning 8 to evening 7pm usually.
