Likes

When i was first at college i felt so bad feeling that no friends and no interaction with anyone .but now i enjoys the campus life when i got new friends nice teachers and many programs were there in college and i have participated in many events
I am very glad to say that i am very interested in sports and when i first came in college i thought there would not be support in sports and all in this college after few days i realized there is a big support in sports and events in the college s
One more thing i want to say that i joined college by watching the videos of college campus which is very beautiful situated at a hill top .we can enjoy the beauty of nature in my college which is very beneficial for our happy mind which can help us

Dislikes

I like to Share The things i disliked in my college is that many teachers of our college are good and entertaining also teaches well but there are some teachers who dont like us and dont teach properly the come and go no teaching would be occured i
Placements are very less in my course comparing to others
A small issue is that some labs are not satisfied for me as infrastructures are not sufficient

Fees and Financial Aid

I have took admission in 2023 in college of engineering thalassery kannur. I got a seat of spot admission and spot admission students are said to pay 51000 ?/year as tuition fee. In first year we have gave caution deposit of 20000 rs which college said it will be returned. There are some other fees like exam registration etc..in first year i got an approve for scholarship of Egrantz which provide 900rs /month.

Campus Life

In my college there occurs many programs in each semester .mainly programs held in our college are Arts program and tech fest .these are so entertaining programs for the students.the library of our college provides the best books to students .

Admission

I have choosen college of engineering thalassery because i got less marks in Keam exam and according to my mark this college was far better than other colleges and this college is so near to my home and i could travel easily

Faculty

Most of the faculties are very companied with students and join with us for any events and parties in college but a few are there which are so bad in character and teaching too .actually we think they dont like us but what is the reality we dont know

Night Life

In my college campus there is no gym .cafetarials and library are available which is very good facility for students .but there are 2 gyms near to the college, the hostel students use to go there for the workout

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:
