My campus life

The course includes not only writing theory papers but also doing industrial training. So it gives us overall idea of the industry we will be working in. The teaching method includes presentation and videos shown on smart board by professor. The exams are very frequently done as we have mid semester exam and end semester exam every semester.

Many companies like Google ,uber ,Amazon ,Flipkart etc come for the internship. This your almost 300 students got the internship offers in their third year out of 1200 students. These company come for software development roles as well as roles in finance and management.

Students can apply for placement in their seventh semester. Many companies come to our college like Google, microsoft, amazon,uber etc. almost fifty percent students got placed this year . Highest package was of sixty six lakh per annum and lowest was of sizlx lakh per annum.

I have to pay 1 lakh tuition fees and 18000 mess fees every semester. I come from obc background but my family income is above 13 lakh so I have pay full fees . But st sc student only have to pay mess feed they don't pay tuition fees. Even ews category students pay only thirty percent of fees and too get refunded through scholarship

There are multiple fests held here. The cultural fest is held in January and is called srijan. We called salim Sulaiman this year as star night guest. We also have technical fest called concetto. We also having mining department fest called khanan. There are many sports club as well for cricket, football, badminton, basketball etc. we can also go to inter IIT. They are many cultural and technical clubs as well.

Here all students have to live inside the hostel only if you want to live outside the hostel then you have to take special permission. We have to pay 18000 every semester as the mess and hostel fees that is 36000 per year. The food quality is also very hygienic.

I got jee rank suitable for this college. Also I love chemistry and this college was providing metallurgy as an option which in olved Chemistry. This college is almost 100 years old and it's alumni network is great . To get admission over here you need to clear jee mains and jee advance exams. Or you can do masters here by clearing gate exam.

There are many faculty here like in my department there are 30-40 faculty members and we have a batch of 38 students. Also many professor are our alumni. There are mid semester exam and end semester exam every semester. We also have many quiz in between. Exams are not only based on memory but also on critical thinking.

They are many food outlets here. We get food at subsidised prices. They are few tea stalls as well open till 11 pm. We have one of the largest technical library of Asia. The hostels are also amazing and has in time of 12 am at night. We can roam safely inside campus as outsider cannot enter easily here.
