Course Curriculum Overview

3

At that time mechanical engineering was considered to be boon and I was very much curious in learning about machines, their working and much more. But in college there was nothing like that happend. There was some king of fixed structure which every student has to go through. There was nothing like exploring the mechanical engineering. Just learn and write your exam for good marks. I would suggest them to make students really study about their curriculum to follow in real world.

Placement Experience

2

Placement cell was not that much strong. From 7 semester, student were eligible for placements. Arabol, hundred engineers, jktyre, micromax, shapoorji pallonji visited our college and they hired nearly 4-5 students for every company. Highest pakage offered was 11 lakh from arabol and lowest of 2.4 lpa from micromax. Percentage of students placed was quite low, nearly 20 %. I was placed in micromax as inspection engineer but as I told they ran fake placement drive, when I went to join, they told us the reality and job was lost.

Fees and Financial Aid

For every year, the tuition fees was nearly 117000 and an additional of 5000 as caution money. There was nothing like development fee, lab fee etc. They were giving scholarship based on score in intermediate and matriculation and other competitive exams like iit or uptu. I got a scholarship of 20% discount on fee for securing good rank in uptu. Their was some kind of state scholarship also but I was never that fortunate to avail the facility.

Campus Life

5

There was an annual fest called anubhuti and other workshop like plc scada and many more activities was ran in college. The library was vast and books releted to every field was available. The classes was simple like board and chalk. No technical faculty was there, even they were not air conditioned. Sports like cricket, vollyball, basketball court were available and students actively participated in that. Our college won the sport festival arranged by BHU. There was clubs for every field like singing, dancing , painting etc and every students should be part of at least two clubs and I was associated with singing and art club

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels was good enough. They provide filter water, sanitated washrooms. Clean and tidy mess, food was good but sometime it was worst. Menu was fixed and only veg food was provided in hostel. Registration was simple, at the time of admission one has to opt for hostel. Hostel fee was 55000 for a year which was quite affordable. Ifone want to rent a pg they has to go nearly 10 km away from college for good pg and facilities. Room was provided with a triple accommodation in which they provide single bed, one table , one chair and a cupboard.

Admission

Since I was oldest to my parents, I opted other colleges also but my parents didn't wanted me to go far away, since college was new and was in close proximity than other college, so I opted this college. I applied in maharishi markandeshar university but did not went there. I didn't applied to too much of college but wherever I applied, I was selected . Admission procedure is very simple, secure at least of 50 % of marks in intermediate, pass their university entrance test and get a admission.

Faculty

5

Faculty for mechanical engineering department were highly educated and were from IIT'S AND NIT'S but they keep providing the same content for every year. Quality of education was fair enough to get good marks but was not actually developing our skills and thinking ability. A few faculties were really good with students like Amit singh , Asthana sir and Vikram singh. These teachers helped a lot in our major project and also provided extra help in cracking GATE exam. And rest of teacher were also good in what they were their for. For every semester, there were 2 University test each of 20 marks which contribute 10% of marks for the semester and 10% was contributed by assignments and rest 80% was contributed by end semester exam. If someone doesn't not clear the exam, they have makeup exam for that.

Night Life

4

Night life was very simple. There was a gym in hostel for hostelior. Cafeteria was not operational in night and students were limited to hostels only in night. Entry in hostel in night was only upto 10 AM. For outing in night, one must get outpass from warden after verification from their parents. For hangout, student play outdoor games in court or take a walk upto main gate of college. Since college out in outskirts, it was not recommend to roam outside college at night.

The Tech branches are new so placement is worse. Petroleum and Chemical branch is far better in terms of placement, PSUs come for them only. Tech Branches are shifted to Bangalore Campus for their final year, for batch 2021 they saw few companies highest was by PhonePe 24lpa. Now for my batch 2022 , we have still time till next year. few companies visited our campus highest was by Flipkart 33lpa.

Placement in ABESEC quiet decent in comparison to other private college in ghaziabad and delhi ncr . In aktu ABESEC is growing very rapidly .after 3rd year you are eligible for Placement and u can seat in Placement. See the reality of these private college is low than any other good government college so u have to react accordingly and i can tell you average placement of abesec is around 4-5LPA and maximum student get Placed in abesec . Like in 2024-25 season for ex Infosys came to abesec where 878 students were eligible for Placement and around 255 get offer letter. My plans is to get a decent Placement and then i will carry forward with that job

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. I came from counselling so i didnt have much choice that time so my thought was just as AI is an emerging branch and will have huge demand in future so i made this as my choice 2. Cirriculm is good of this college better than others because as this college is an autonomous institute so they make their own syllabus which is always an updated syllabus and as per the industry demand 3. I think they should add DSA as an subject from the 1st year itself. 4. Internal exams happen 3 times in one semester. Internal exams are moderate not so difficult not so easy
