Cms is the best thing that happend to me. I can never be more grateful for anything otherthan cms my whole life. It gave me a three year course in life and lifelong memories to cherish and hold. I am forever thankful that i was a student of cms.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus has been changed by the college when it got autonymy and its changed for the better. The faculty of the department of english is the best you could find in any college. They are so supportive and knowledgable people.
Internships Opportunities
Yes it does. I didnt get the oppurtunity as i had studied under the univeriry syllabus. But now the present students are getting the privilages of intership and it turns out very well for the students.
Placement Experience
Cms is best at giving education but we cannot say a 100 percentage on the placements and job oppurtunitues after your graduation. Yet again it gives more job vacancies than any other nearby colleges.
College Events
Every special occasion is celebrated at cms college. Whether it is onam christmas holi or anyother occations it is celebrated it love and harmony. And every important days in the academic calender are also celebrated in here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very feasible for a student coming from low income family and for SC/ST students they have special consessions and scholorships of different kind and it is only lesser than 5000 indian rupees a year
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholorshios for students coming form backward community and it gives scholorships and merits to the student with good grades and those who are good with there extra carrucular activities.
Campus Life
The faculty and the college is very supportive when it comes to extra curricular activities. Students are provided with oppurtunities and space to express themselves. Good labs and a very good library.
Hostel Facilities
They have two college hostels lea and askwith. Lea is the girls hostel which is just outside the college but within the college road. The mess is good in there and students are happy with their services.likewise askwith is the sports hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year on january 26 we have our alumni meet and everyone is waiting for that single day to come. To meet their loved ones wuth whom they had the best days.cms gave me the best seniors one coukd ever get. They are so supportive and loving just like our own siblings. Ragings are not even a question in here.
Exam Structure
Semester exams are conducted. Exams happens as smoothly as it can and students get enough study leaves and breaks inbetween the examinations. The exampapers are valued three times and apart from the facultu of cms externals are also valueing exams.
Admission
I got in here through the autonomous allotment system and i came in as a waiting list applicant. At first i had to go to the college and fill in the aplication form. The form is also available on the the official website but i chose to visit the college.
Faculty
They are the best you could ask for.The teachers of english department are particularly the best one could get. They encourage you support you and are very free to talk with. A student teacher bond could be found in cms.
