Likes

There is no regular classes which give me some space to learn my other things.
I have the freedom to choose the my respective exam center that make it easy for me to find and reach there.
The assignment submission is also done online which save our time and cost to reach the centre.

Dislikes

No regular classes give us no space to socialize.
There is no cultural celebration is provided my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum provide by our university is not much hard or lengthy that we cannot cover in the given time . The curriculum includes only important topics that will help us further in studies and life.

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 31000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is 31000 for my course ( Master's of Business Administration in Marketing) But the fee for the full couse also have some additional charges that are the registration fee which is 1500 paid only for ones for the whole couse and the exam fee that is 200 rupees each subject for every semester. I don't applied for any scholarship.

Campus Life

IGNOU is a distance university which provides us college courses with no campus life. It does not provide us any opportunity to socialize, to have any chit chat with friends and to involve in any cultural societies and festivals.

Admission

I am preparing for some other exams that makes hard to attend the regular college for me and IGNOU provide me a perfect opportunity to drive both the things together in a balanced manner and the easy addmission process make the things much better.

Faculty

IGNOU provide us distance courses which is that there is no regular classes so there is no faculty available us to teach but there is faculty available to help us for assignment submission and many other things . There is same exam pattern as followed by the regular colleges that is the exams held after every semester's end. There is no marking given in numbers we are marked by grades.

Night Life

IGNOU university provides us distance college courses which curtail our campus life and provides us no opportunity and space to hangout with friends and to explore our campus locality. There is no availability of gym, cafeteria, library for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of this college follows almost all the important aspects which are needed to step into the real world of business. In every semester there are two types of subjects. One is practical and the second is theory. In 4th semester their subjects like statistics, managerial economics and financial accounting which will really help us to understand the business world. And in theory subjects like marketing, human resource management, organizational behavior are very important. Study is mainly focused on case study basis which helps how we can apply these concepts in the real problems.

Great Learning

Remarks:

You get an opportunity to learn and become a more responsible person. You need to attend classes as they carry marks but you also need to be active and do other things as well in order to learn as many things as possible. It teaches you a lot. Since the infrastructure is shared with other courses also, at times it becomes difficult to get access to seminar halls and other things.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths. I have not applied for other colleges. As I am preparing for UPSC, this course is very convenient to me. The admission process of the college is pretty simple.
