Course Curriculum Overview

4

1. Prior to it, i have done a diploma in the same field which prompted me to chose the same course as it was beneficial for my further professional life. 2. Moroever, the curriculum was relevant to the real life applications and has really helped in my job until now. 3. The teaching methods were perfect but i guess they could have been more fun if more practicals were there to happen so that they could be understand really well. 4. There were 2 periodicals and 1 final semester exam of all the subjects in each semeseter.

Placement Experience

1

Ideally students become eligible for placements after 7th semester atleast in B Tech But in my time there were no placements and no companies visited which was a little disappointing for all the students. We assumed it was because of covid and lockdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

I used to pay 32,000 per semester which adds up to 64,000 per year. Moreover, i didn't opted for hostel so I don't know the fee structure for that. I was in a Covid batch so most if my classes were online so I dont think any of my batchmates also opted for the same.

Campus Life

2

I did not experienced the campus life as such because of getting admitted in an online batch. So for me, the dream of a campus life has still remained a dream. But i have heard there are certain fests and programs being held in our University.

Admission

I never applied for any othere college as i got all the necessary requirements fulfilled in this one as it was an online batch which made it easy for me to work As oer my knowledge there is no exam for admission, you can just simply apply and get admission by paying the fees atleast this was it in my case. But the admission process for each semester after you get admitted js really tiring as the faculty in the admission wing , Is really not helpful

Faculty

3

1.As i mentioned i was in an online batch so i never faced the problem if less faculty as they were really good in what they taught. 2. I really liked ankit sir as he was always there to support us in any situation be it profesional or personal. 3. There are 2 unit wise exams per semester and one final semester exams of all the subjects. 4. The Course curriculum was relevant to our needs and was explained in such a way which was easy to grasp even in an online class.

Night Life

2

There's no gym. The cafeteria is really simple and open till 9 pm in the evening. There is a really good library in our University campus. The campus is in a deserted place so there's no night life and moreover it's not safe to roam around in the night as the campus is in between a jungle

Updated to align with NEP-2020 guidelines starting from 2023 onward. CSE (AI & DS) branch includes modern subjects like Data Science, Machine Learning, Python, Cloud basics. Core branches (ECE, ME, EE, CE) follow standard Indian engineering frameworks with essential subjects. Syllabus similar to other govt engineering colleges under HP Tech University, so fairly up to date.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for job drives from the 7th term. In our college, firms like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra visit. Most jobs are in coding, support, or test fields. The top pay was around ?10 LPA for a dev job. The usual pay is 3–4 LPA for most jobs. Nearly 60–70% of CS/IT students get jobs. Core jobs are less for other fields. My goal is to work for 1–2 years in tech and then go for higher study or skill-based role in top firm or startup.

Students become eligible from 7th semester for campus placement but you can apply off-campus if you want. A lot of times off-campus placements are of better amount than on campus placements. Almost out of 400 students present in a year, 100 get very good on campus placements.(Almost above 10 lakhs) 100 get between 5-10 lakhs And rest ho for higher degrees although they get a placement of 4-5 lakhs
