Review of VIPS, Pitampura

The curricullum is well balanced and has a all round experience. It is very similar to that of B.Tech and is very practical in the modern techonology. The subjects include coding, theoretical as well as emerging technologies.

Internships are offered In campus as well as through references by the faculty. The stipend ranges from 3000 pm to 15000pm depending upon your role. The projects include web dev projects, Software dev projects, etc.

From Semester 5, Students are elgible for Campus placements. Reputed companies such as Amazon, TCS, Coforge, Delloite, Infosys, etc. have came here for hiring students. Median package is somewhere between 3-4 LPA.

The yearly fees for the BCA course at VIPS is approximately 1.15 LPA. The breakdown includes tution fees, registration fees, lab fees and exam fees. Fees may vary based on the category General, SC, ST, management quota. For EWS students, the fees is reduces as per the applicable criteria.

The fests are very famous in Delhi, Initio is the biggest one and is held at a very large scale. The social life of this college is veryyy good and the infrastructire is top notch. Clubs and socities also play a big role.

This college was in the middle of the city and it is affiliated to GGSIPU. Also, the BCA course here is very good and that it is why i chose this college.No, i was not rejected from ant college. The entrance test was conducted by IPU CET and the procedure was smooth.

The faculty to student ratio is pretty moderate. Some faculty is unapproachable at times but overall i had a very good experience with the staff. The exams are moderate and students can pass them if they study a bit.

No, there wasnt any Interview, Group Discussion for the admission. Although, the admission was done through IPUCET which was an objective type examination. After that, students were to fill a counselling form where they had to create a preference list of colleges.

Nightlife or evening life is very good and there are few hangout spots near the college. Also, outside the college we have places to eat and stalls especially Kishan Momos which is very famous amongst the students.
