Reality of CGU

This BCA course is equivalent to btech and also it's less expensive you'll learn almost the same as btech course. There is a mid sem exam before the end semester exam and 4 unit test for each. Many of the students clear the exam.

My course fees is 90000 and their is rumoured that from next year course fee will increase. The registration and addmission fees was 15000. The batchmate also share the same course fees. The management is also good.

Campus is clear if we ignore few spots like backgate or some. This college conducts many events like inter-college championship in Basketball, Volleyball, Esports, Cricket and many more. Also CGU celebrates every festival like holi, diwali, saraswati puja and many more. We are going to experience the celegance 2025 in few days. Also tech fest is going to happen in March. So yes, this college is good in cultural events.

Hostel is good and rooms are also good and they clean your room every Wednesday and Sunday (according to your room no.) But bathroom here is not good and not clean. Bathroom smells alot although they clean the bathroom as well but still it smells. Talking about food, I will say that don't expect much from hostel food. Just fill your stomach and go to sleep. Food here is tasteless.

This college is reputated for its placement and I find this place very close to my hometown. I didn't opted or any other college because those colleges like DIT Dehradun, NIU Noida etc because these colleges was way far from my home. Now coming to admission process here in CGU Odisha, It's very simple, you just need to clear an entrance exam conducted by CGU itself also you can enroll in this college if you have decent JEE or CUET rank. Admission process was good.

The faculties are good but few of them are bit strict and rude. They will give you assignments to complete just one day prior to submission date. And then they will deduct your marks that is not good. But as we know, every coin has two face few of them are too good.

The gym and cafeteria is also good and the closing time of gym is around 9PM and library closing time is as same as gym 9PM. Hostel entry gate will be closed at 10PM strict and no one will allow to enter the college hostel after 10PM. Some common and famous hangout area is Mclawn and civil lawn, you can spend some great time there
