Our au college of science and technology holds ranks best 24 rank among the nation wide universities. Internships Opportunities

Some of placements luke quality checking and QC analyst jobs will be reaserchers. Laboratories like reddys labs, nivrithi labs, hpl and some other companies will be attend. Internship like working like 2 months on certain project will be given. They give 15000 per month as a stipend. Identification of organic compounds in medicine, Analysis of toxicity in drugs, research on cancer drugs.

Placement Experience

We get generally our university campus placements from the final year. After compltong third semestets we will get opportunity to attend for various companies. we nyt laboratories. Reddys labs, hikal ltd, nivrithi labs etc in our surrounding pharmaceuticals. Above 90 percentage will be placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for an MSc in Organic Chemistry at Andhra University Visakhapatnam is INR 38550 per year. The average fee for an MSc in Organic Chemistry across 77100 for both the yeras. Admission to an MSc in Organic Chemistry is based on graduation marks or entrance exam scores.So it depends on our rank. Exam fee will be paid for every semester exams 680 for each semester. In total we have 4 semesters. Lab fee will be around 1000.Hostel fee will be 3000 per month.

Our university hosts a variety of annual and technical festivals, cultural events, and sports like AU United Cultural Club: Organizes a variety of events, including debates, essay writing competitions, music-dance workshops, and technical and cultural events. We have Golden Jubilee Cricket Ground: Used for cricket matches Silver Jubilee Ground: Used for sports Tennis Complex: Used for tennis matches Indoor Gymnasium: Used for indoor sports Physical Fitness Centers. We have you tube channel for our university. We have chance to participate in national wide and international wide sports and extra curricular events. Yes, we can ask university permission and run our group or club.

Hostel Facilities

Our hostel hasEach room typically features a comfortable bed, a spacious wardrobe, a study desk with a chair, attached bathroom with hot water, and ample power outlets; the meals are generally well-balanced with a rotating menu of South Indian dishes including fresh vegetables, a variety of curries, dals, rice, and occasional non-vegetarian options, with breakfast usually including idlis, dosas, and upma, all served in a clean and hygienic dining area. Room Facilities: Bed: Single or double bed with clean linen Storage: Wardrobe with sufficient hanging space and shelves Study Area: Desk and chair Bathroom: Attached bathroom with hot water supply, shower, and necessary toiletries Windows: Natural light and ventilation Electrical Outlets: Ample power points. We have breakfast, lunch and dinner. For registration we have to bring our college allotment form with hod sign next they will take our photos and joining will be done after paying the money. Its price is 3000 per month.

Admission

To be eligible for an MSc organic chemistry at Andhra University, one must meet the following criteria: Have a bachelor's degree in a relevant specialization from a recognized university. Have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in your bachelor's degree . Pass the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (AP PGCET). Then apply for counselling. Web options for courses and colleges. Based on ur rank we get university. After that certificate verification and admission to university.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio for the MSc Organic Chemistry is 8:6.the most liked lecturer are my organic chemistry teacher He teachee us very clearly from reagent to products based on catalyst we take. He explains by drawing the structures of each and every compound. All are good in our university. There are no teacher i don't like them. I like them all. Yes organic chemistry is a tough subject. We need to learn and seek knowledge by practising and doing experiments in lab every day. 4 semesters and 8 mid exams. No maximum all will be passed in our class becuse all of them come through appgcet they got admitted based on top ranks. Fail percentage is very very low.

Night Life

Gym: Closes at 10:00 PM, with access restricted to hostel residents only after 9:00 PM. Cafeterias: Open until 11:00 PM, with a limited menu after 9:00 PM. Library: Closes at 12:00 AM midnight, study areas accessible to campus residents until 1:00 AM. Hostel In girls hostel till 8.00 clock is closing for hostel. My department side ground. Basketball court. Entrance of au. Yes locality is safe at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is so updated and they focus more on application. They also provide us with the knowledge of emerging fields and opportunities. But i feel like the curriculum should be less hectic for the students. The exams are veru frequent here because there will be 3 internal assessments before the main exams and they are so hectic.

My favourite subject is Computer science, i like computer science in my hood, I will want to be SOFTWARE ENGINEER, i had a dream to study btech and get a good job and get my individuality, but unfortunately , our financial problems , i am not able to learnt engineering, now i am studying Masters of computer science, but i am not satisfied , because they did not provide good knowlege , they taught like basics what we had already learnt at degree, i felt very very bad at every moment, i get tears when i paid fee , because our parents did so much hard work for our education , but in colleges there is nothing else. My course here in sri Venkateswara university is master of science in statistics. This subject seems to be very interesting and I am very happy with the knowledge that I can get to know from my faculty. Coming to exams and conducting exams they give much time from sem to sem. As it is a semester system we have a lot of time to study. We will be having two internal exams and an external exam. Internal exam is for 20 marks and external exam is for 80 marks on a total of 100 marks.
