Course Curriculum Overview

2

I choose EEE because we have both goverment and private job opportunities in this course. In our college we gained only theoritical knowledge there is no pratical applications provided One must have to do interships in power generating plants and substations to get clear idea about the course . I did internship in NTPC and court substation without any reference from our college There is no proper cirriculum for our course in the college

Placement Experience

3

In 3-2 sem CRT classes were provided in our college for campus placements From 4-1 sem we got campus placements Next gen and SPR solutions companies were visited our college and they selected around 50 students in our college the highest package was 4.5lakhs per year and average package was 2lakhs per year 10% of students got jobs in placements Actually there is corona attacked in our final year so we didnt get more placements I went for preparation of government jobs in our course

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee i paid was 0 beacause am a BC student fee reimbursement of 35000 rupees is applied for me and 15000 concession on merit basis. There is no admission fee or lab fee or anything. I paid only bus fee i.e.8000 per year One friend of mine paid 50000 for college fee for management seat There is no scholarship given by our college on merit basis

Campus Life

3

No technical festival conducted in our college. Annual festival conducted every year titled Spectrum on feb 27,28&march 1st for 3days. technical books are mostly bakshi author availableand we have all types of books in our library there is nothing like technological provisions provided in our classrooms,in the final year only for ppt presentation they provided projector sports like basket ball, kabaddi and table tennis competions are there every year in our college and cultural activities like dancing and singing conducted on occassions

Admission

I applied for KITS and GEETHAM colleges as first and second preference and last preference to VITS.I got seat in GEETHAM but due to family issues i cant live fae away from my family i decided to studyin karminagar. At that time VITS college is suggested by one of friend of my brother he told me that this is the best college in karimnagar but later i realized that its not true Admission process in our college is simple

Faculty

2

There is no sufficient faculty in our college, faculty to student relationship in other branches like civil, mechanical and cse was too good but in our branch our faculty was very strict and are like student enemies I like Babu sir in our 1yr and 2nd yr ,his way of explanation was fabulous and he is the only student friendly faculty in our branch but after 2nd yr of our b.tech., he left our college because of politics in our college and i also like satyam sir who taught us power system analysis subject in 3rd year, his way of teaching was very good and he clarified every small doubt we asked. I dont like madhavi madam, padma madam and krishna sir because when they are teaching it feels like they are teaching to walls not to the studens there are six exams for each sem, some subjects are moderate and some are tough. In our class 20 students failed in different subjects out of 56 students

Night Life

4

Our college is located at outskirts of the city so there is no cafterias near to our college, there is only one canteene inside the college campus and we have games room also there we play chess and caram board and table tennis ,we also with our faculty sometimes,at these two places we had lots of fun with friends. There is only hostel for girls ???? and the warden was very strict they dont outside persons into it and the timings are 8am to 8pm subday outings are allowed for hostel girls, near there is one bakery so we hangour there at day time only ,it is not asafe place to hangout at night time

Placement Experience:

SVIT provides good placement opportunities for general IT roles, but students aiming for niche fields like Cyber Security need to take initiative, upskill themselves, and explore off-campus options. The college is improving slowly, and I believe future batches will benefit more if industry tie-ups are strengthened.

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
