KLR College of Engineering and Technology, Khammam was started in the academic year 2008-09 under the sponsorship of Late Dr. K.Lakshma Reddy with a vision to provide higher education to the rural part of Khammam district.

College offers various undergraduate and postgraduate engineering and management courses
College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Hyderabad and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi
College is now planning to establish various companies’ research and development centers so that students can be benefitted to have assistantship and internship in the campus

Central Library: The library has rich collection of books and journals in various disciplines of engineering. The central library has 10500 volumes of books over 1500+ titles. It has subscribed to 30 international and 59 national journals. There is also a digital library with 100 systems facilitated with internet. Through digital library students can have access over 1200 ebooks and journals.
Seminar Halls: College has 2 seminar halls equipped with world class facilities and having seating capacity of 200 and 400 students. They are utilized for various conferences, orientation programs, workshops and lectures.
Hostels: College has hostel facilities available for boys and girls separately. Currently hostels can accommodate 70 girls and 80 boys. More hostel blocks are under construction stages.

Likes

Classrooms are neat and perfect. I like the classroom environment
The surroundings are great with trees. The nature and fresh air.
They conduct sports. I always participate in that.

Dislikes

The ventilation is bad. The windows are covered with cloths

Admission:

I choose this klr college because I have friends in this college. And it was near my home so it's easy to travel. as per the admission, one faculty will go to the houses for inter completed students and recommend them about this college

sports, every sports like cricket , kabaddi etc
no discrimination in the college like toppers and dullers

Dislikes

too much discipline in the college which is good but sometimes it iiritates
some labs also not up to the mark, like computers lab and mechanics lab

Admission:

i applied some colleges near my city and i got this college through counselling, admission process is simple for management quota peoples and fee structure is very affordable in entire state, in this college we get good education for less fee

they mostly collect fines from students even for not wearing in-shirt

Admission process: one of the college staff will go to the houses of students who are about to complete the inter (12th) or diploma and promte their college. They will sweet talk with our parents and make the parents definetly choose their college. they offer many plans to make us join in their college. i choose my klr college because it was near to my house and some of my friends are going to that college. mostly all college are same like the staff with half knowledge.

I applied SBIT college for cse which is in khammam very long to me and i applied for the college which iam studying now because it is near to me . No rejection was made by any college, to get seat in our college they must be qualified in Eamcet which is conducted by the state government.
