Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is amazing fantastic and marvelous it's actually hilarious that the university is giving such a curriculum it's the best they start core subjects from 2nd semester a bit rushed but still overall great

Internships Opportunities

Internships are amazing they give internships early onwards from 3rd years from the opinion of seniors they are actually great they provide great practice for the upcoming jobs and the work tensions and get stiphends

Placement Experience

Placements are amazing . Companies like tcs Infosys Wipro southernland comes for recruiting people the packages are also somewhat okay almost the average package is about 3lakhs per annum overall it's great

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year total 86000 tution 60000 Exam fees and caution fees 10000 My friend emil kurian gave fees 12000 per year he got a scholarship and he is a Christian My friend aswin ram p has to pay 60000 per year he is a general category he got this course through keam

Campus Life

No girl no study campus Life is excellent the only problem with social aspects is that I can't communicate with girls and lots of roasting are coming from the people still okay to deal with it overall it's great

Admission

It is one of the few colleges which has this robotics and automation course which is great . Also the distance from the main kochi is less than the other colleges which has the same course so I preferred this college

Faculty

Faculties are amazing they are very helpful people actually they are great teaching is also good they take extra care of the students they are beautiful teachers and hot teachers overall they are considerate

Interview Experience

Yes I do it was a nice experience in group discussion and I attended a written examination for the admission but I haven't experienced an interview because there was interview for the admission of the exam

Night Life

Amazing nightlife with chunks of the hostel in the campus cafeteria is great they have chicken biryani with pappadam salad and pickle , then they have meals and chappati with kuruma and salted pickles

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Main companies visiting the campus are IBM , TCS ,TATA ELXSI,L&T, Cognizant,Toshiba,Vanenburg,Kalkitech,Sobha,Mrf ,Juspay,Dynolt and many more. 70 % students get placement Highest package is 16 lpa and average is 5 lpa After degree higher studies can be considered.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.
