Faculty

5

Each batch has a strength of 150 students and each department has more than 10 teaching staff. Lectures provide necessary information in a very delightful way and make the difficult concepts very easy for the students to understand. Teaching her is done in 2 way communication where questions by both students and teachers are been asked. Short Group discussion and posting in hospital helps us to understand the subject even better . Every week grand clinic is conducted in which students posted in different departments present the rare cases and cases are explained in detail by hod of respective department. Even students are posted to operation theatre to see surgeries which helps in better understanding the subject. Posting in labour room helps to gaing a huge knowledge in obstetrics. Medicine , surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology departments have the great faculty. The experienced lectures cum doctor are so down to earth. They put huge sum of energy of the well being of students. Exams are conducted in a very strict manner. We will be having weekly exams in weekends. Internals are conducted 3months once both theory and practicals are conducted . Exams are difficult enough to make the students be ready and thoroughly prepared for the university exams

Night Life

4

Cafeteria are open upto 11 in the night. Library will be closed 9pm. Hostel and campus timings are upto 9.30 in the night. Cafeteria in the college premises is the best hangout place inside the college. Out of campus in kurnool there are so many hangout places like kondareddy fort. City square Mall. Jothi mall etc etc. It is better to be in the campus before 8 because bus facilities are bad and transportation becomes so difficult and dangerous by night

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
